Since we helped you, essentially Beta Test your app, you shouldn't penalize us by having us "upgrade" to a downgraded app. Bad policy. I'm shocked that Apple allows this. Early customers should be grandfathered in. It's one of few apps where the novelty doesn't wear off in a day. Play it all the time. I do wish you could customize it more. Choose your own background or change the tile colour. Thanks for ruining my favorite game. This was the very first game I got on my very first iPod Touch, and I have played it for years--and that's saying a lot for a game. It was a great game that I could play for a challenge, or set it so I didn't have to think too hard, but still enjoy. But in the last update, you ruined it. Everything I liked about it is gone, including scores. I know you think I'll just buy the full version, but I won't. I'm done. ### 1/5 — Horrible update *2013-04-15, version 2.1* I have played this game for many years, one of my favorites...although it always had some quirky bugs. This update erased my accumulated score , is almost impossible to beat no matter how great your hand is or playing skills. Now they want you to pay an expensive premium to get more options to play. Version 2.0.1 update *2009-10-11* I find myself playing this game more than others that I've paid for. The last update added score tracking and it now saves your game when you exit, plus you can choose the AI's skill level. I agree that an undo button would be nice, and wouldn't be surprised to see that in a future update. Version 2.0.1 update: I still love this game, but have reduced my rating to one star. I was suspicious at the sudden appearance of a "free" banner on the icon, so I didn't do the update, and am very happy that I did not. A recent reviewer said that they were "put off by the low ratings at first, but apparently the dev took away some features when he released the paid version. So what." The problem is the way that the developer took away the features. The update page says "some modifications and corrections have been made". Taking away features so that you can then charge the people who gave your app 5 stars and recommended it to everyone they knew is neither a modification nor a correction. I would have been more than happy to pay for an upgraded app, but if this is the way the developer is going to treat the people who tried to make his app successful, then I will leave the little red 1 on my App Store icon, and stop telling people to support this developer. Don't get me wrong, I'm not asking for a free upgrade. I'm just asking for honesty on the developer's side. I have other apps that specifically spelled out the fact that they were moving to a paid version, so if you wanted to keep your functionality on your current free version, don't upgrade. Most of those I actually paid to upgrade. If the developer chooses to change his policy, I will happily return my review to 5 stars and pay to upgrade. ### 1/5 — Gave us the shaft *2009-10-03, version 0* This WAS a great game......then the final update "minor changes and problems fixed" took away multi player and other perks from us. They also put the FREE on the icon.... All because they went pro for $1.99....... that's fine but don't give it to people who play this game for hours evey day and then take it away from them.....
