## What is Roomlight?

Roomlight turns any screen into a window.

A fire actually burning. Snow actually falling on a mountainside. The Milky Way actually wheeling over a ridge line. Every scene in Roomlight is real filmed footage, chosen and cut to loop seamlessly, so what you get is a window onto somewhere calm rather than a cartoon of one.

Leave it running on your phone or iPad, or send it to a TV or projector and let it fill the room.

SCENES

Fireplace — eight real fires: a classic hearth, a bright campfire, burnt-down coals still glowing, a Yule log, an open hearth in brick, close logs over a deep bed of coals, and a glass-fronted wood stove. Most are filmed from a fixed tripod, so nothing in the room moves at all and only the flame does — which is what you want from a fire left burning in the corner of a room. The classic hearth is free; the other seven need Full Access.

Snow — six winter landscapes: a snow-laden mountain range, pine forest, a cabin in the woods, a frozen lake, country fields and a city under snowfall, with snow drifting past in the foreground. The mountain range is free; the other five need Full Access.

Outdoors — thirteen scenes: a campfire at night, rain running down a window, the sea at dusk, fireflies in a forest, the northern lights over a lake, a desert sky thick with stars, a thunderstorm, rain off a roof, rain spreading in rings on a pond, rain running off pine needles, waves surging into a rock cove, bright daylight waves on pale sand, and golden-hour waves running up a beach. Campfire Night is free; the other twelve need Full Access.

Lava Lamp — a slow, warm, hand-built lava lamp with real glass, molten wax and brushed metal, in a range of colours. All free.

Visualiser — abstract light that moves in time with whatever is playing in the room. All six looks need Full Access.

FREE TO TRY, ONE-TIME UNLOCK

Roomlight is free to download. Thirteen presets come free: all ten Lava Lamp colours, plus one from each of Fireplace (the classic hearth), Snow (mountain range) and Outdoors (campfire night). The other thirty are locked.

Full Access is a single, one-time in-app purchase that unlocks everything. It is not a subscription, and once you buy it, it stays yours for ever.

Every feature works on the free presets: sound, sleep timer, speed and intensity controls, TV mirroring and all quality settings.

SOUND

Every scene can bring its own atmosphere: fire crackle, rain, wind, crickets, surf, desert night. Each one loops seamlessly with no audible restart, and it mixes with your own music rather than interrupting it. Sound is off until you ask for it.

ON YOUR TV

Screen Mirroring or an HDMI cable sends the scene to the big screen full-bleed, with no interface in the way. Your phone becomes the remote.

MADE TO SIT IN A CORNER

- Sleep timer, so it fades out on its own
- Speed and intensity controls, to take any scene right down to barely moving
- Balanced and Maximum quality, so an older device stays cool
- Pauses itself the moment it is off screen
- Works offline once installed, with no account and no sign-up

PRIVACY

Roomlight collects nothing. No account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Your settings stay on your device. The scenes themselves need no connection — the only time Roomlight talks to a network is to ask the App Store about Full Access, and that conversation is between your device and Apple. The microphone is used only if you switch on the music-reactive feature, is analysed live on-device, and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.
TERMS

Full Access is a one-time in-app purchase. It does not renew, there is no subscription, and you are never charged again. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
