## What is Roommate?

The roommate next door. They never speak. They are just there.

Roommate is a body-double app — the ambient sound of someone in the next room, designed for ADHD focus, WFH coworking, and study sessions. They make coffee at 7am, type on a keyboard mid-morning, take a shower at 9pm. The schedule drifts ten minutes day to day, so it always feels alive. Knock the wall once an hour for a soft response — a cough, a chair shift, a cabinet closing.

NOT AN AI COMPANION
This is the opposite of Replika and the AI-girlfriend wave.
• Not a chatbot pretending to love you
• Not a parasocial creator you have to bond with
• Not a stranger on Zoom watching you work
• Not a story arc that demands your attention

ON-DEVICE, NO INTERNET, NO ACCOUNT
If you want to text them, you can. Their replies are generated on your device by a template engine. There is no AI model. There is no server. There is no human on the other side. We deliberately built it this way.

We collect nothing. No account, no email, no advertising ID. Your roommate selection, your knock cooldown, the chats you have exchanged — all of it stays on your device.

Roommate Pro+ — $7.99/month. Pro features plus a custom roommate generated from a one-sentence description.
Lifetime — $59.99 one-time. Pro forever, no recurring billing.
