### 3/5 — Has potential

*2026-04-15, version 11.12*

The brick room scanning mode is the best I’ve tried, full cluttered rooms and this mode just works, door and window identification also works well, but app crashed twice on a house scan first time it looses visuals of the floor plan needed to be restarted, once home it had lost all my hand notes I put on the plans, the window dimension has the width but has the height on location detail with sill and lintel height, so it will not export window heights on the data, there is no manual draw in a room if there is a cupboard or void you can’t scan you can’t add it later. Just the editing the post floor plan is just not easy and simple

### 3/5 — Subpar

*2026-02-11, version 11.12*

Not good for continuous ceilings and ceilings with diagonal cuts.

### 2/5 — Loosing small details

*2025-12-07, version 11.12*

Overall a good app
Just loosing small details like windows and partition walls. You can see them in 3D scan but they disappear on a floor plan.

### 3/5 — It could be better

*2025-02-01, version 11.6*

I asked it for help to clean my room and it said no!

### 3/5 — Doesn’t recognize stained glass windows.

*2024-07-22, version 10.0*

Just trying out the app to see if I want to purchase. I have two Stained-glass Windows in my front room and for both of them the app couldn’t figure out if it was a window or not. It tried to overcompensate on one side to make the window next to it larger and then eliminated the other one and made it more wall space. which completely threw off square footage of the wall I was trying to estimate . Useful but not 100% accurate. I have a rather unusual house so probably more accurate in a normal house. I just thought you might wanna know it does not recognize stained glass windows.

### 1/5 — Not easy to use

*2024-07-21*

More specific instructions required. Step by step guide to set up, use, labrllingvrooms, how to add floors, what to about about awkward spaces. I don’t find it intuitive in the way apple normally is.

### 3/5 — Dommage

*2024-07-18*

### 3/5 — Not bad but very limited editing

*2024-07-04, version 10.0*

I don’t see a way to add walls manually, also don’t see a way to remove furniture which I do not want to see in my floorplans. Very difficult to select to move rotates alter elements within the scan because the paradigm for selecting and selecting is not clear or intuitive. This is an initial review on day one, things may change and improve once I learn the workarounds if there are any…

### 2/5 — Getting there

*2024-06-14, version 10.0*

Not a bad app. Scans are fiddly to edit and a bit counter intuitive at times. Colours need optimising for colour blind people.

It does lack a bit of intelligence, too.

### 1/5 — Good at scanning but ultimately useless

*2024-05-24, version 10.0*

If you take a screenshot they disable the app entirely.

### 1/5 — Constantly freezes and crashes

*2024-05-13, version 9.3*

unusable app. it constantly freezes after a scan. once it freezes it corrupts all the previous scans, thus loosing all the work.

### 1/5 — One room worked one didn’t..

*2024-04-20, version 9.3*

Seems ok but until I can properly try it not paying a load of money to test it out.

One room worked ok one didn’t. Worked ok on a simple box room that I could have drawn up quicker.

Went back to try to fix the plans of the complex room but I cannot do anymore on the free version which said 7 days free but I’ve only been allowed to do about 1 hour on it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very unintuitive

*2026-06-11, version 11.13*

When you try to manually make a rectangular room it turns it into a parallelogram

### 1/5 — Should be 0 stars, no trial

*2026-05-07, version 11.13*

This is a terrible app if you need it to work. What I needed to do required a subscription I attempted to purchase using the monthly subscription that came with a free trial, it wouldn’t go through, I selected the 1yr plan, also with a 7 day free trial for $99.00. That plan went through but the app still wouldn’t do the room scan, the screen just hangs one “move phone to start scan” the scan just never starts. I restarted my phone and did trouble shooting. Support tells me it’s a faulty lidar lense on my phone. I gave up and purchased a different app which also uses the same tech including the lidar on my phone it worked great. (The app is called 3D Snap and it’s very user friendly). I canceled my 1 year subscription within an hour of purchasing which is well within the 7day trial. I was denied a refund since once you purchase the subscription there is no trial.

**update, after they were notified of this review they responded with a childish reply “now we’re really not going to help you and we would have refunded you but the negative review was rude”

***how was i trying to get free use of the app? When you cancel it for a refund-which I got from Apple, you no longer have use of it. If you’re one of the coders no wonder it doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Nul pour les extérieurs

*2026-04-22*

### 1/5 — Impossible to use, please try again

*2025-11-22, version 11.11*

The UI is 10yr old, the UX is anti-intuitive and it fails to register or purchasing, Apple should remove it from the store I am afraid

### 1/5 — Totally inaccurate

*2025-08-08, version 11.10*

As I was scanning it changed angles of the walls and moved doors midscan. End result was a different room! Deleted.

### 1/5 — Paywall after 3 rooms

*2025-07-25, version 11.10*

No way am I paying a monthly sub for an occasional project. Accuracy not good enough anyway.. was 10cm out on a wall of 3.94m

### 1/5 — Why isn’t there an import icon front and centre?

*2025-04-05, version 11.10*

This app could be really magical, a term Steve Jobs used to describe the simplicity of Apple apps and hardware.
Where is the import button? Why isn’t it at the top of the screen on the main page?
This app does so many things well and then turns around and adds in the most unintuitive steps to fix something.
I want to love this app, but right now that’s impossible.

### 1/5 — Unusable on most devices

*2025-01-18, version 11.4*

Makes you subscribe before telling you that the lidar feature is only compatible with iPad Pro and iPhone pro devices.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Super

*2026-03-05*

Super

### 5/5 — Fst scan

*2026-02-16*

Fst scan is good

### 5/5 — Great for insurance adjusters

*2025-03-26, version 11.9*

This app fills a hole for Symbility users. This has worked for me nearly 100% of the time. With a little practice, you can determine which method works best for you. Using the brick mode is very similar to using the Xactimate AR mode. The measurements are accurate and import directly into Symbility and Xactimate. The developers are amazing and responsive. They have added features as requested, like being able to take photos with a room that are exportable in a zip file. The photos are labeled by the room name so you don’t lose track of them. It even has an exterior mode, so you can do a footprint of the house and use that to accurately draw the roof. The only issue seems to be that when imported into Symbility the window heights are not accurate, but the developers are working on that right now. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to scan a room for accurate measurements and wants to use their mobile device. You can leave the clipboard at home.

UPDATE: this app is constantly improving. The developers are clearly listening closely to feedback from end users and working hard to create an effective and reliable product. After installing from a backup on my iPad the app crashed repeatedly, I had to remove the app, shut off and turn on my iPad and reinstall it and then it works just fine. I feel that this was a glitch from the back up, not from the app.

### 5/5 — Second Day Using

*2025-03-22, version 11.8*

Absolute Game Changer

### 5/5 — Incredibly Simple and Accurate

*2025-02-03, version 11.7*

This app has literally turned our job measurements into a relative few minutes.

Equally impressive is their customer support. I ran into an issue at the end of a busy week and reached out for help. They immediately responded and solved the glitch, with reassuring updates.

### 5/5 — Easy Fantastic

*2024-11-25, version 11.2*

Been using it to estimate floor area works extremely well . And surprised how the accuracy has improved .

### 5/5 — Prometteur

*2024-07-16*

### 5/5 — Great for insurance adjusters

This app fills a hole for Symbility users. This has worked for me nearly 100% of the time. With a little practice, you can determine which method works best for you. Using the brick mode is very similar to using the exact mate AR mode. The measurements are accurate and import directly into Symbility and Xactimate. The developers are amazing and responsive. They have added features as requested, like being able to take photos with a room that are exportable in a zip file. The photos are labeled by the room name so you don’t lose track of them. ### 5/5 — Streamlined my work flow

*2024-01-31*

Love this app! Especially it’s ability to export ESX files for Xactimate! It’s quicker than Xactimate Mobile and is usually pretty spot on within less than a 1/4”. Sometimes a little tweaking is needed but that’s understandable. Regardless of what app you’re using, ALWAYS take some realtime measurements to compare. This app has been a huge time saver!

### 5/5 — Lidar ipad

*2023-11-27, version 9.1*

Una pasada, logicamente se pueden afinar mediciones pero te deja hacerlo al momento con un disto, genial
