## What is rooomPortal?

rooomPortal introduces you to the Metaverse in a fun and engaging way. The free app for iOS enables you to enter the Metaverse through the AR Portals powered by rooom.
How does rooomPortal work?
Scan the marker of an AR Portal with the rooomPortal app to open the gate into the Metaverse. Look through the gate into a virtual experience world that has many surprises in store for you. When you walk through the portal, you will find yourself in a marvellous 3D environment where you can move around and look through the portal back to reality. Take a photo of yourself and share your first visit of the Metaverse!
Making the Metaverse accessible to anyone
We don't want a Metaverse where everyone is trapped in a headset and no longer acting in reality. Instead, we have developed a solution that visualizes the virtual and real worlds merging - without abandoning or neglecting real life. With rooomPortal, we are are making the Metaverse more tangible and provide added value in the physical space as well. The great advantage is that you don't have to put on an uncomfortable VR headset but can enjoy the experience directly with your iPhone or iPad, which you already have in your pocket.
