I hope you find a way to fix this.. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work on iphone 11 *2021-01-26, version 4.6.4* I had just gotten a new phone and wanted to start tracking my acne again but it seems as if the app only works with iphones older than the 11. The scanner cannot detect my face, it wants my face a centimeter away from the screen. It wants my face a literal inch away from the screen before it will register it, and even then it’s only able to scan part of my face. I feel like a manual scan button would solve this problem. I would give this app 5 starts if the app includes side view shots of acne on the jawline, and the checks. ### 3/5 — "Add Acne" option needed! *2019-06-06, version 4.0.11* Impressed with this app and feel it has incredible potential, but it really fell down when face scanning. It completely missed many of the actual zits (and they're not subtle). It also picked up a lot of random areas which aren't zits, but I don't really mind that, as the app very helpfully allows me to go through and tag them "Not Acne" one by one. However, there is no option to add spots manually when the app totally fails to detect them in the first place (which happens for at least 3-5 obvious spots on every scan). This feature is needed! I tried the face scanning feature multiple times, with multiple lighting & angles, and it would miss extremely obvious red dots each time. This problem would be totally tolerable if the app let us manually add in any spots that the auto detection misses. PLEASE add this feature... ### 2/5 — I can’t even open the app *2019-04-09, version 4.0.11* I feel like this app has so much potential, so it’s such a shame that it crashes every time I open it. As a young teenager with severe acne, I have literally tried everything. Changing up the products I use, seeing doctors, going on diets, combing through the internet for hours on end. I’ve pretty much given up. So I was hoping that Roop could have been the breakthrough I was looking for. I guess not ### 3/5 — “talk to a professional!” *2019-01-08, version 4.0.6* i have sent 12 messages in two weeks, just asking how to do certain steps of my wash routine, but no one has gotten back to me at all. i’ve been skipping steps and avoiding certain portions because i genuinely don’t know what to do or how to use it properly. otherwise, with products i have used, i’m not even lying when i say i felt a difference after the first three days. sure, my skin is gross and purging, but for some reason, it just feels so much cleaner and more glowy. once the communication problem is fixed, this app is as good as gold. ### 2/5 — Cannot sign up *2018-12-03, version 4.0.4* Every time I’ve tried to make an account, the app tells me I can’t do that at this time. Annoying because I can’t access a lot of this app without having an account. And this is one of the worst. Their website didn’t make sense and none of it correlated well. I asked a question and I haven’t gotten an answer and it’s been over 2 days since. Very disappointed in this app. Feels like a scam and doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — WHAT?! *2019-08-19, version 4.6.0* So, I opened the app and it says “only compatible with Iphone” I have an Ipad and it says that it is compatible with Iphone, ipad, and ipad touch(any device IOS 11.0 or up) ### 1/5 — Review *2019-05-22, version 4.0.11* I don't think this is very good because every time I used the app it would detect random freckles or dark spots and pimples but when ever I clearly had pimples it never noticed them ### 1/5 — Does not account for scars at all *2019-01-05, version 4.0.6* For those of us that have sensitive skin and scaring from previous breakouts or eczema rashes, it will not detect it correctly. It will count random things as acne vulgaris when it may just be a red mark or irritation. Right now I have one zit and a mass of scars but it said I have 14 zits and counted the end of my nose as a zit. The only use for this app is taking pictures to track acne but the detection feature and skincare plan are not good. There’s not even a place to fill out other skin conditions such as eczema, angular Chelitis scars, burn scars, and freckles. This app is misleading and it’s important for people to know that burns and scars are not acne and they require a different type of treatment. Developers- you should let people do an initial mark up of their face for skin conditions, what spots are scars, scabs, and irritation. I had huge pimples and deep cystic acne. I didn’t realize I was doing everything wrong until I got this app. I was at my wits end and every other acne app only sold or promoted expensive products. I love that this app not only shows affordable products but it provides alternatives if one product doesn’t work for you. I love this because everybody reacts differently to different products. I have a super sensitive skin and I could afford all the different products that it showed me and I found them easily at Walmart or Target. I also love that you can click the link and go directly to the site where the product is sold. And I love how it tells you how to use the product I’ve been using acne creams for about eight years and it wasn’t until I downloaded this app that I figured out I’ve been using them wrong, and I started seeing results within the first two weeks. it’s been about three months since I downloaded the app and the only thing I’m dealing with now is scars left behind by my hormonal acne no new acne has popped up on my face for weeks! I get a few whiteheads here and there but the tiniest little ones. I’ve never had acne the small ever before in my life. Another great thing about this app is that it recommends vitamins and i started taking cod liver oil and collagen vitamins and I think that also really helped the healing process. Only bad thing is this face scanner is it the best but I partly blame that on my phones poor camera quality and I have no good lighting, also a lot of my acne is on my cheeks and the face scanner really doesn’t show the sides of your face so I took side pictures so took two pictures every night and morning. I’m so grateful for this app because it helped me get a skin care routine that works!! ### 5/5 — AMAZING! You will not need to have photos on your camera role of your acne. Which is great because that can be pretty awkward if someone sees it. This stores pictures for you!
