### 2/5 — Ads.

*2024-06-28, version 1.0.17*

After first couple of runs and you get far enough to earn “stars” there’s and ad every star and every time you finish and everytime you try to collect your cash. The ads play in the middle of gameplay at least twice which is infuriating.

### 2/5 — Mixed reviews

*2024-05-09, version 1.0.17*

So. This game is okay, but what I really don’t like is the next areas are blocked by an AD. I’ve never seen a worse game that shoves ads in your face as you’re PROGRESSING.

### 1/5 — Good idea terrible game

*2024-04-17, version 1.0.17*

In the first minute you have to start watching ads. It would be fine if the ads were optional I would have rated in about 4-4.5 but this is just a scam there’s more ads then actual gameplay.

### 2/5 — The same problem as too many others

*2024-03-27, version 1.0.17*

1. Portrait orientation only

2. Incessant ads

3. Moving, hence distracting ads at the bottom of the screen

5. WTF‽ Gameplay?

6. No inkling as to how to play, but …

7. I suppose the game plays itself

I write some reviews so I won't bother with an app again. With scores of games available, I guess this developer reasoned it's pointless to build an app and have it rise to the top, but bobbing around the bottom is sufficient.

I doubt I have to explain to users why the first 3 issues ruin any iPad app, but developers don't know or don't care. Or- maybe the ad revenue from my 10 minutes “using” the app is enough. The final 3 items are for non-gamers like me. I don't open a game or many other apps and spontaneously understand what to do, but I try. First, I open the settings and turn the music off since I want to listen to my own music. I have to play my music through my iPhone, though, since, IME, if music is on an app, it precludes anything else from playing. Absurd, right?

In Settings, I look for information about how to play. Nothing? I go back to the game, watch, and fiddle around. What are those stars? What are they doing? What are those things I can buy every 20 seconds after the game planted the seed and the plant grew- while I did nothing? Why is “No Thanks” greyed out and half-hidden?*

Some games tell me what to do and are playable, but also some, usually RPGs, seem to have have actions that don't do what they ought to do, AFAICT. If I were an antagonistic, bellicose, contentious reviewer, I believe I’d leave reviews for games I can't figure out asserting they’re fake games, the developers fraudsters, favorable reviews as paid, and shame on Apple for permitting this trash in the store. Instead, the situation is probably more mundane. I don't think like the developers, and I don't have much experience in how games are played. I don't mean I don't understand the point. I don't understand the mechanics of what is likely blindingly transparent to game developers and players. It's a shame, isn’t it?

*I know that one.

### 1/5 — Fun Game

*2024-03-26, version 1.0.17*

This game is really a fun, take your attention type of game. However, there’s just too many ad’s in 1 run I got 4 ads. I get that companies gotta make money but to have 2 ads mid run and ads before and after the run is absurd.

### 1/5 — Ads are like a cancer

*2024-03-25, version 1.0.17*

Even if you choose not to multiply your earning you get an ad and it’s almost like the developers want to punish progression because there’s an ad at every new layer

### 2/5 — Unpolished game

*2024-03-24, version 1.0.17*

Saw an ad for this game and thought it looked cool, so I bought it. The quality was differed from the ad, like most every other mobile game, but the game still had the same idea, so that’s good. This game needed more time in the development phase. It’s just not very good right now : messed up writing, not a lot of variety, nothing to keep the player playing (ie possibly gaining gems for skins, temporary upgrades, etc.). The game is ok, just definitely needs more work. And as always Game that took a long time to develop > game that’s just put out there

### 2/5 — Looks nothing like the ads.

*2024-03-22, version 1.0.17*

I was scrolling through shorts and found an ad that looked a bit interesting. I downloaded the game, and the game had similar stuff like the ad showed, but it was very lazily made. When you reach the end of your root growing, the tree just materializes. No growth stages. Just a wood stick with leaves magically growing.

### 1/5 — Badly made adware

*2024-03-07, version 1.0.17*

The game hits you with 30-60 second ads every two minutes. The privacy policy is basically an excuse to use your info however they please. And to top it off, there are several spelling mistakes in the UI like they didn’t even spell check this direct rip of a 2009 browser flash game. Do. Not. Download.

### 3/5 — Has potential but there’s a big issue!

*2024-02-19, version 1.0.17*

This game has a lot of potential, but there’s a big issue stopping it from being a good game. I found this game very fun, but the enormous amount of adds after every completion makes this game nearly unplayable. As I spent more time watching the adds then I did playing the game. I believe that this game could live up to everyone’s expectations if it did not have so many forced ads.

### 1/5 — Ad madness

*2024-02-08, version 1.0.17*

Even when skipping ad bonuses it forces a ad if you progress anywhere past the first stage.

### 1/5 — I Cant describe the amount this game pushes on me

*2024-01-22, version 1.0.17*

This game while being fun in theory is as rich as iraq oil fields but instead of being the sweet black gold of oil its a truck load of ads in every way imaginable

I can not fathom the amount of time i spent watching ads the ratio is like 3:1 would not recommend

### 1/5 — Ad-watching Simulator

*2024-01-21, version 1.0.17*

2 hours to get through all the content. Not much to do. Most of that time was spent watching ads anyways. Don’t bother with this unless you’re really *really* bored. It’s obviously just a cash grab on the dev’s part.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2024-01-07, version 1.0.17*

Took an hour to finish and mostly ads

### 2/5 — Cool concept, but an Ad fest

*2024-01-06, version 1.0.17*

The idea of the game is cute and cool, but for something so simple it’s very laggy. Also there’s ads in the MIDDLE of the gameplay which is an immediate app delete for me

### 2/5 — Excessive amount of adds

*2024-01-01, version 1.0.17*

It’s a fun game, but there is a video ad on each level and after each round. I ended up spending more time waiting for the skip button than playing the game. I understand they need to make there money, but it’s excessive. Not worth the download

### 2/5 — If only

*2023-12-24*

This is really an okay game if only they didn’t make the game so they can push ads in your face. “Wow you’re playing the game here’s an ad”
“Wanna double your score? No? Well here’s an ad"
“ you’re did good on that last run. Here an ad”
Honestly it’s more ad than game. But if you wanna pay money to enjoy the free game they made than buy the ad free if not you’re going to be swimming in ads. Really like the idea of the game tho

### 3/5 — Many advertisements that block game progression

*2023-12-22, version 1.0.17*

Read title

### 1/5 — This game has potential to just be mind numbingly fun

*2023-12-10, version 1.0.17*

However although this game has potential the amount of ads I have had make it completely unplayable. Ads in the middle of a round, before and after aswell. That’s just an absurd amount and make your game unplayable. Probably the worst thing I’ve downloaded for this sole reason

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — game knows ur location

*2025-10-06, version 1.0.17*

alot of people are rating this game 5 stars for some reason but did you know it steals your location? it also steals 3 other things.

### 1/5 — Ad…

*2024-07-14, version 1.0.17*

Ad ad ad… ad is everywhere. It could be a nice game… but it’s ruined by ad

### 1/5 — 😀🔫

*2024-06-17, version 1.0.17*

There is an ad for every second of this “game”

### 1/5 — Lasts a couple hours tops

*2024-06-12, version 1.0.17*

Game has almost no content at all. Stats max out early on, and there are only five levels total. Game just doesn’t last long enough to be worth the download. Whole thing felt like a beta test with no real refinement or advancement.

### 1/5 — Would give zero stars if I could

*2024-05-31, version 1.0.17*

Absolutely abysmal experience with 4-5 ads per 1-2 minute run. Greedy developers absolutely ruined what could be a relaxing game. Shame on you

### 1/5 — 0 stars.

*2024-05-31, version 1.0.17*

This game shoves ads down your throat in the middle of gameplay, you’re maneuvering the root around a corner and then suddenly you’re in an ad. I get it, companies need to make money and ads work well for that, but your gameplay is absolutely ruined by how they did it. 0/10

### 1/5 — TOO MANY ADS

*2024-05-29, version 1.0.17*

After each game, an ad, if you deny the ad reward, an ad, upgrade your plant. An ad, I’d play this for hours if there weren’t so many ads

### 1/5 — Cheeks

*2024-05-14, version 1.0.17*

Game doesn’t look the way the ad showed

### 1/5 — Forced ads mid-game

*2024-05-03, version 1.0.17*

The game forces ads in the middle of the game, it kills the fun…
Also after each ad, the game lags until restarted…

### 1/5 — Fun but too many ads.

*2024-04-29, version 1.0.17*

Plus its a remake of a itch.io game.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very fun and addictive game but…

*2024-04-08, version 1.0.17*

The sheer amount of ads this game has is so annoying, like every time i get to a new area AD!
Ads are everywhere in this game and that’s its only problem.

### 5/5 — Very good just needs more levels!

*2023-10-03, version 1.0.16*

Had plenty of fun with this game, only downside is it needs more levels and possibly could be developed further with new points of gameplay. I completed the whole game in about 4 hours, there were plenty of ads (most of the time I turned off internet and still worked normally but I’d recommend to at least watch some as this is how the devs get money), but overall I enjoyed the content and look forward to seeing an update in the future. Thanks for the fun and sorry for not watching all that many ads - reduce the amount and I’d be happy watching them (ie not every level down you go cause this really disrupts gameplay and therefore the fun).

### 5/5 — No ads

*2023-10-01, version 1.0.16*

You think the ads are going popping out but you have big hands

### 5/5 — Great time killer!

*2023-08-19, version 1.0.16*

Played this game start to finish in less than a day! I enjoyed it a lot and would love to see more levels as I’ve completely finished and maxed every single upgrade

### 5/5 — Actually a good game

*2023-07-17, version 1.0.15*

I think this is a genuinely good game.
It’s quite easy to advance in the game, you can also play offline with no ads, so I played this while out at a cottage with no service. I completed the game in just a few days so i’m a little disappointed about that, but i’m hoping there will be an update?

### 5/5 — SO FUN MY RYES R FALLIN OUT

*2023-06-24, version 1.0.15*

I have been playing this game for hours my eyes have actually started leaking spinal fluid but it’s okay bc I don’t need medical attention as long as I have this game

### 5/5 — Great game!

*2023-03-22*

Reminds me of one of those old fishing games that every kid used to play.

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2022-10-14, version 1.0.5*

This game design is really good, finished again and again.

### 5/5 — PLEASE READ

*2022-09-26*

This game is great and has a lot of potential but has ads upon ads and no way to get rid of the if there was a way to pay and get rid of ads this game would be a great cash grab but the ads are overall the biggest issue. Every run you do has about 4-5 ads after the first five minutes of gameplay

### 5/5 — Classic good game.

*2022-07-13*

I’ve beaten the game. It’s a quick easy game to just have fun with. There’s no ads which blows my mind but I also love! 10/10 would play again when there’s more levels.
