## What is Root.in?

Make progress on your goals, one day at a time.

With Root.in, every goal is a seed. Build a habit, cut back on something you want to avoid, or plan a task for a specific day. Your achievements help your plants grow.

A PLANNER FOR YOUR GOALS
See your day, browse the weeks, and look back or ahead. Schedule a goal for tomorrow, next Monday, or any date you choose.

HABITS AND ONE-TIME CHALLENGES
A Do is something to accomplish one or more times per period. A Don't helps you avoid an action, with zero tolerance or a limit. Choose daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, every N days, or selected weekdays. For a single task, create a one-time challenge.

REMINDERS AT YOUR TIME
Choose the hour and minute for a Do or one-time challenge reminder. If you do not choose a time, the reminder is set to 23:59 on the last day of the period. A daily review reminder also helps you close out yesterday. Notifications are optional.

YOU STAY IN CONTROL
Confirm your actions with a press-and-hold and log your slips. Made a mistake? Undo it right after logging, or from the goal's details while the day is still open.

SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Follow your streaks, points, and growing plants. Pin important goals, choose from two home layouts, and look through your history.

YOUR GARDENS AND BINGO BOARDS
Group your goals into themed gardens. Create 3x3 or 5x5 Bingo boards, with standalone squares or squares linked to your goals.

KEEP YOUR GOALS IN SIGHT
See selected goals on your Lock Screen with Live Activities, and in the Dynamic Island on compatible iPhones.

NO SIGN-UP
Your goals and history are stored on your device and can sync through your private iCloud. Export them as JSON. Proof photos stay on your device and are not included in that file.

CREATE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION
Add as many goals as you like: no ad interrupts goal creation. The free version displays banners. An optional support video, started from Settings, earns a flower while you are below the free flower cap.

OPTIONAL PURCHASES
A one-time purchase removes banners. Monthly and yearly support subscriptions also remove banners while active. Tracking features remain available without a purchase.

Support subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the end of the period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings. The price and duration are shown before purchase.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-12

Root.in becomes your planner.

PLAN YOUR GOALS
See past and upcoming goals in the new Agenda. Schedule a habit or one-time challenge for today, tomorrow, or another date.

ONE CREATION FLOW
The lightning button opens one creation flow for all your goals, including your choice of day. No ad interrupts creation, regardless of how many goals you have.

REMINDERS AT YOUR TIME
Choose a time down to the minute. The default is 23:59 on the last day of the period, for every frequency. Your custom times are preserved.

MORE FLEXIBILITY
Undo a check-in made by mistake, right after the action or from the goal's details while the day is still open.

A NEW LOOK
Discover new illustrations, tiles, and progress bars. Find pinned goals at the top and choose from two home layouts.

EARN FLOWERS
The paid flower pack has been removed. You can still earn flowers through credited successful days and optional support videos. The banner-removal purchase and support subscriptions remain available.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-05

Technical update: refreshed ad component and stability fixes. Your goals, plants and streaks are unchanged.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-10

NEW
— Yearly goals: a new recurrence for what plays out over a year, and to link a goal to a bingo square.
— Log several at once: a "5 times a week" goal no longer needs five separate confirmations.
— Read back the summary of any past day, not just today's.
— Restore a backup: importing can now replace your data instead of only filling in what's missing.
— Close out your day whenever you want, from Settings or from a reminder at the top of Today.

FIXED
— A Don't with a threshold you've dipped into but held now goes through the day close: you log your slips without automatically giving up, and you make the call.
— Points shown mid-period were understated for a goal logged early; they now reflect what you'll actually earn.
— A close time set to midnight wasn't saved.
— The close-out reminder could still fire after the day had been settled.
— Days saved with a flower finally show up in a goal's calendar.
— Your plant's growth is celebrated when you log from a goal's detail screen too, with haptic feedback.
— A goal now states the period its target covers ("2 times per week"), so changing its rhythm no longer silently changes what it asks of you.
— Long titles wrap to two lines, reorderable lists work at large text sizes, timers are easier to read, cells are tighter.
— The app is fully translated into English, release notes included.

### 1.1 — 2026-07-28

Root.in is growing - here is 1.1.

LIVING DASHBOARD
Your goals stay visible after a win and after a slip, with the points you earned and the
points still in play. Going beyond your target now earns a bonus.

STREAK HISTORY
A lost streak is no longer erased: find your record, your average and a chart of every past
streak in a goal's detail. We cheer you on with your own history.

THEMED BINGOS
Create as many boards as you like - personal, work, the year - as a mini 3x3 or a full 5x5,
each with its own colour. And see your whole day as a grid with Today's Bingo.

LIVELIER GARDENS
Check off goals straight from a garden, follow its activity feed, and reorder your gardens
however you like.

YOUR PLANT EVOLVES
Every stage-up now gets a real show.

SMARTER NOTIFICATIONS
Grouped reminders, no more notification for a day you already closed, and tapping a
notification takes you straight to the goal it is about.

NOW IN ENGLISH
The app follows your iPhone's language.

Plus: clearer widget and Dynamic Island, bug reports and ideas from Settings, and an
optional support ad that earns you a flower.
