This is Spanish by the way, it’s not too hard to pronounce the words. Will be canceling & find another app to use for language learning. ### 2/5 — Can’t log in *2026-08-17, version 1.1.1* ‘The email or password you entered is incorrect. Please try again.’ Not this again, it took long enough to get the older app working initially. ### 4/5 — Would recommend *2026-08-16, version 1.1.1* Significant upgrade over the non sapphire version of the app. Feels more built for mobile rather than a converted Windows 3.1 application. Having said that, it still Jumps out to a web browser for the AI chat features etc. I’m using it alongside a competing more “gamified” app and the two do compliment each other nicely. Hopefully developers will continue to improve it. For example you have to wait a frustrating couple of seconds before starting each speaking exercise while microphone is enabled. No matter how clearly I pronounce, how silent it is in the room am of pronunciation, all of my answers are marked as wrong and I cannot move forward. It is a problem with the app with my phone as has been suggested. Somebody needs to be testing for this. I’m still in the free trial. But if this persists I’m not going to be paying for an app that doesn’t work properly. So I have to go to the sidebar menu on the right to enter into a lesson. I’ve emailed support twice and have yet to hear back in over five days. I paid over $160 for this app and to receive nothing from support is baffling. I expected this to be “the way” to learn a language. I guess my expectations were unfounded. I was really hoping it would be similar to another language software I had used in the past to learn Haitian Creole. My expectation was to listen to this, only to learn the language, but you must look at the app in order to use software. But still to this day the speech engine always says I the words wrong. Even with my native Korean wife next to me saying the Korean words and my self it still won’t work or let me pass. ### 2/5 — Separate cost from classic *2026-07-22, version 1.0.18* This is what I always wanted for “classic” Rosetta Stone which I spent a lot of money for the life time purchase. No Customer Loyalty. *2026-07-31, version 1.1.1* Have a lifetime subscription to classic and noticed a new version of the app. Imagine my disgust when I discovered that it wasn’t available to existing lifetime customers and instead, would be a whopping $20 a month on top of the hundreds I already paid for lifetime. And judging by the state of the app, it’s not only basically the same as the OG app, but it seems to function worse! Many companies seem to value squeezing the absolute most money out of everyone they can and that is simply not a respectable practice. ### 1/5 — What a ripoff *2026-07-31* I bought a lifetime subscription (unlimited) in 2020. These platforms puts streak guilt to shame. They provide immersion, grammar, and precision without manipulation.
