Now, It will upload photos and videos but you cannot view them. Then there was an update, but, still no change. iPhone as well. I have only viewed files through the app on my phone. I have not yet connected this device to a laptop to view files there. I pre-formatted the drive like it said to do and still no communication going on! ### 3/5 — Lemme splain something *2025-04-16, version 1.3* The way this works is not straight forward as the other review complains about. You have 2 ways to put files/photos on the usb. Option 1, when you download something and it asks you to open it, choose to “open it” in the rospe app. Then you can save it to the storage and delete the OG to save space. For files you already have, open the file to view it normally, then click on the share button. Rospe should be one of the things you can share it to. I choose to blame Apple for the complexity but that’s me. I don’t know how well the back up feature works, but considering it says it’s a contact back up… yeah. Design wise, make the prong longer. I have to take my case off to use this. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work: Can’t see any files or photos *2025-04-12, version 1.3* Utterly useless. Despite the USB drive appearing functional, this app can only backup contacts. It can’t read iOS file system on either iPhone or iPad. iOS privacy & security settings show this app hasn’t even requested access, even though I requested full access in the app. It only asked for access to contacts. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2025-03-19, version 1.3* I bought two of these hoping for the same solution that all of us here were hoping for. In theory, this sounded great, until I exhausted all options and followed all instructions to a T. It just simply will not even recognize the device on my phones. Saved my photos and videos. Now, I cannot even create a new folder because the option shows right on top corner where the clock from my iPhone shows and I cannot select the option to create a new folder. Then I decided for quick save, just to save the photos without a folder, and I cannot even see the photos I just saved. Pls pls fix this so I can keep using the flash drive. Since I used this for my phone exclusively, I’m disappointed that I can no longer can use it to save files to the external drive, but with a USB-C adapter, I can use it as a regular flash drive for my laptop. ### 3/5 — No notations for pictures... *2025-10-02, version 1.4* The app functions well enough, but its a pain to take off my outer case to use it because the smaller end isn't as long as needed. By far the major flaw is the fact that with iphone you CANNOT save ANY photo data whatsoever, so if you need to keep separate notes for pics and videos that you save.
