Why did you change the look of it? It was perfect and smooth now looks weird and unfinished. The new sharing upgrade is so useful and I like the separation of months making it easier to see what I am updating. Previously the app allowed me to bypass my phone calendar however the upgrade no longer allows me to delete appointments or set a repeat for items such as birthdays or swimming lessons. Sad. ### 1/5 — Great App Ruined by Recent Update *2026-05-16* I’ve been using Rota Calendar for years without any issues and it was one of the best shift calendar apps out there. Ever since the recent update, it has become extremely frustrating to use. When I add dates and adjust the times, the app frequently saves the event with completely different/incorrect times than what I entered. This makes the app unreliable for scheduling work shifts and defeats the entire purpose of using it. Please fix the time-saving bug as soon as possible. Had to download a different app instead! ### 1/5 — This new update is rubbish *2026-05-14, version 8.4.2* Can not work my rota calendar now time to unsubscribe ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — 2nd review due to fantastic assistance from developer *2026-06-05, version 8.4.11* I recently reviewed this app and rated as a 1 which was based on the fact I had used for years and was a 5 but with the upgrades that were introduced it was looking for more money to have the privilege of being able to see your rota for as far as you needed to see, after the upgrades I was asked for £19.99 as an existing subscriber which I paid but then it said it had to pay further £29.99 otherwise only seen 7 weeks rotation. I emailed the developer and was getting no reply until the other day (he found my mails amongst his junk mail) and since then he could not have been any more helpful to get to the bottom of the subscription issue and now with this latest update this is all now fixed. Deleted my shifts after a couple of months, tried to contact the provider (using the details they provided) in the message they sent asking to get in touch if they had problems, NOTHING. Thought i’d bite the bullet and pay the £19.99 for a years subscription to share my calendar, and then after 2 weeks not be able to do anything because i’m now only allowed 5 manual shift changes EVER, unless i i now also subscribe monthly (£2.99), which then deleted my pattern.
