The previous rewards app was cumbersome, not easy to navigate, and booking a room and redeeming earned points even more frustrating to accomplish. The current version of the app Rotana Discovery prioritizes flashiness over functionality even more so without addressing the functionality faults…still can’t book using points. Mariam, Kabita and Rajpert take care of us like we were a king and queen. About food, I don’t think that the chef needs our feedback. However, we had a Trader Vic’s salad, Pad Thai Noodles and a Tenderloin fillet with a glass of red wine. Nothing to say but excellent. Thank you chef for your skills. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a great selection of dishes that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. A special thanks to Salina and Noyal, the head waiter and supervisor, for their outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. They made sure every part of our visit was smooth and enjoyable. Their professionalism and friendly attitude truly stood out and added a personal touch to the experience. But the app is utter garbage. Slow to load, sluggish, not user friendly - and, infuriatingly I have to call the helpline regularly as the points accrued don’t get added. The developer who created this should be sacked and someone competent should be brought in to start from scratch.
