The old hours and times are still there. All in all it’s good just this issue with the app refreshing new notifications. Also has some issues with clock in and out. ### 2/5 — Awful for management. Meh for team. *2021-10-30* Okay for team members; clocking in/out, requesting holiday etc. Does the basics, but more features could definitely be added. However, from a management perspective it’s atrocious; you can’t manage attendance, draft/publish rotas, edit availability or access your team’s contact information. You have to do all that from a desktop, as the mobile browser version is also a nightmare to navigate. Could really do with a complete overhaul or a separate app for managers. ### 2/5 — Slowly getting there! *2021-10-27* - You should be able to manage rota’s from within the App, Submit, Create Draft’s and approve Absences! - The flash of a white screen when launching is annoying. - Notifications should be better (rich notifications) , with the option of detecting location and prompting a clock-in and a notification for clocking out depending on when the shift ends! - The App Icon needs a context menu for quickly going to different screens! - Widget of scheduled shifts would be nice! ### 1/5 — Useless, avoid *2021-05-02, version 2.1.6* Unbelievably the app is even worse than the actual platform. If you own a restaurant don’t buy this app, Deputy is way better. ### 3/5 — Alright but not great *2020-11-26* Tells me to update it because it will no longer work but cannot update it as the “update” button on the app takes me to the App Store where it says “open” and it’s an endless circle. Also the shifts of myself and my colleagues are in order of who has worked at the company longest and not who starts first in the day and who starts later; it’s not in shift time order which therefore makes swaps and working out breaks. It’s a reasonable app but could be better ### 3/5 — Not reliable for calculating work hours *2020-09-25* I often have problems logging and clocking in, which as consequence doesn’t register my working hours correctly. Used to use a different app for rota in the past and can tell a big difference. This needs improving. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Terrible clockin clock out system *2026-03-06, version 3.10.12* Always log off when clocking out take multiple tries to log in again often waste of time. ### 1/5 — Horrific *2025-10-25, version 3.10.4* Honestly, this may be the worst app I have had the misfortune to use. It logs me out randomly, says I have no internet connection, trying to log back in, doesn’t want to log me back in when I enter my correct organisation, email & password. And once it decides to work, I’m late clocking out. Horrible app. ### 1/5 — Boo *2025-09-19* Workplaces have it as mandatory in certain sectors, yet the app itself is a complete performance drain if open on mobile, and has a memory leak in it where if left open in BG too long will crash your device. Even then, their new features are listed as beta, they are pre-alpha and shouldn’t be released. Constantly logs you out. They appear more focussed on new features than stability. ### 1/5 — Shift broadcast *2025-02-10* I would get notifications about an open shift but it wouldn’t allow me to accept it. It either says on the page ‘This is embarrassing. We’ve run into a problem. Try and connect again.’ Or just not show the shift that has been Broadcasted. Can this be resolved please! ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-09-28* This app is so bad. It doesn’t let you fill in your availability for your workplace nor does it let you initiate shift swaps. Additionally, I am always experiencing issues with the messaging function which had resulted in several of my messages not being received by my colleagues. Would not recommend, definitely better options available. ### 1/5 — Poor *2023-01-05, version 3.0.1* Limited to what you can do via the app - much better out there - avoid it ### 1/5 — Terrible *2021-05-23* I have to use this for work and have 2 jobs so 2 log ins. Every time I open it, it say up load update then says, despite a new ipad, that its not compatible. I wouldn’t normally review but Im so pleased with this. I’ve given 5 stars too cos before we got this, rotas we’re scribbled on a bit of paper, holidays not properly logged, etc. Now I can check out the rota in real time, see how much holiday I’ve got, see the hours I’ve actually worked (I worked overtime last Friday) and its all there.
