It’s so polished. The little Rotom blurbs make it feel like you’re in the Pokémon universe. I love the Who’s that pokemon game. There are two detractors. The first is small. It hasn’t updated the dex to Legends ZA. I get it. Things take time. But the real reason I just had to take down two stars is the membership price. There shouldn’t even be a membership for something you’ll not be using every single day. It’s all info you can get for free. I admit the experience is lovely, and it’s well-organized. But please let us just pay for it once. This membership nonsense is insane. And forty dollars a year! I would be 40 bucks for a lifetime “membership”. Aesthetically pleasing and the only app I’ve seen so far that has sounds, music (which I appreciate so much) and such wonderful presentation. Theming is spot on, as close to an official pokedex as I could expect honestly- just incredible. As someone with autism who has latched onto pokemon so hard, finding a pokedex app that has not only an easy to use design but also goes all out with the style is like finding a stray 50$ on a walk. it’s so so SO close to being my go to. My only true issue is the pro subscription, no way to permanently remove ads in one go is incredibly disappointing to find out- the features locked to pro don’t seem worthwhile enough personally. If ever there is a one time purchase for it added, even if it’s like 15-20 bucks for ads removed alone, not even including the other pro features? Now im not able to fill my PC with pokemon from multiple regions unless they are included in the same game. But….. *2025-04-29, version 3.01* I love this app. Mimics the ingame dex perfectly, looks amazing and works really great. I have it 3 stars because it has a few glaring issues. My two biggest are the hitbox for buttons. You have to click things like the text box just right or it won’t register your touch. The other big issue is some areas of the app seem to rely on internet connection and they hang forever! I can’t get some information at all because it gets stuck in infinite load. Worst part is buying the app is also impossible because the purchase premium option is locked behind this infinite load bug. Fix all this stuff and the app will be perfect 😁 ### 4/5 — Some cries don’t work *2025-04-11, version 3.01* It’s good but some of the mega and gigatimax cries are just the normal Pokémon cry and some actually do the cry. It’s colorful and vibrant theme along with the wide selection of pokemon and their stats made it helpful and more enjoyable for me and my brother. However there’s one problem it has. I’m not sure why but recently when I try to make new teams, I can’t seem to add anymore moves to the pokemon themselves. I’m not sure if I’m doing it wrong, but I can’t find anyways to add moves to their stats. Very disappointing and will not support it in any way. You should have chosen to honour any previous purchases with lifetime pro, instead you chose to try and make more money.
