## What is Round Here?

Most apps make you search. Round Here does it for you.

Open it anywhere — your own street, a city you've never been to, a
layover you didn't plan for — and see every rated place around you.
Sort by distance. Switch to highest-rated in one tap. Filter to what's
open right now. Then close it and walk.

It sounds simple. It changes how you move through cities.

  NEAREST TO YOU

Set your search radius and see everything nearby in a clean, scrollable
list. Each result shows distance, star rating, open or closed status,
and category — all without having to tap into it. No guessing, no
digging, no tapping into a place just to find out it closed an hour ago.

The map sits at the top, pinned and numbered to match the list below.
Tap a pin to highlight the corresponding result. Adjust your radius on
the fly. The list updates instantly.

Browse at 250 metres for what's practically on your doorstep, or open
it up to find something worth a short walk. Round Here works at whatever
  scale the moment calls for.

  TOP RATED

One chip. One tap. Your results re-sort from nearest to highest-rated.

Round Here calls this Top Rated — and it changes the decision entirely.
The ramen place with hundreds of reviews climbs to the top. The hotel
with a 4.6 rating from nearly two thousand guests surfaces above the
average option that happened to be closer. The French restaurant that
everyone loves stops being buried because it's two blocks further away.

Use it when you want the best option, not just the fastest one. Switch
back to distance when you're in a hurry. Combine it with the Open Now
  filter when time is short.

  SMART ALERTS

This is the part that feels like magic.

Set an alert for any category — bars, museums, hotels, coffee shops,
ramen restaurants. Round Here watches quietly in the background. When
you're within your chosen radius and moving at walking pace, it surfaces
the top-rated match and sends you a notification.

Not a calendar reminder. Not a vague nudge. A live, right-now alert
tied to where you actually are and how fast you're moving.

Each alert is yours to configure:
  — Category and search radius
  — Speed condition (only fires when you're on foot, never driving past)
  — Rank filter (the single best match, or open it up to more)

Set it once. Forget about it. It fires when the moment is right.

It works in your own neighbourhood. It works in cities you've never
visited. The kind of discovery that feels less like a search result and
  more like good timing.

  SAVED PLACES

Save anywhere directly from the list. Your saved places live in their
own tab, organised and ready whenever you need them.

  WHAT'S INSIDE

  — Explore view with map and scrollable list

What's New

Search radius now works correctly. The distance slider previously snapped back to 1 mile regardless of what you selected — this is now fixed. You can search up to 5 miles as intended, and the slider remembers
  your choice.

Better results near city edges. If you're just outside a city centre, nearby places were sometimes missing even when well within your search radius. Search now casts a slightly wider net to avoid cutting off
  results right at the boundary.

Richer background. The app background now has a subtle warm glow in the corners — amber top-left, deep sienna bottom-right. Small detail, noticeably more premium.
