Net result is you are missing 6 to 8 holes a score. Sometimes it catches up and loads afterwards. It is not intuitive and wish I had not subscribed and thrown away $60. The only thing I like is the watch portion of the app which does provide fairly accurate distance to the pin and the only reason I gave it 2 stars. It limits the clubs you can play and track which is ridiculous. I'm sure this app was developed by an online gamer or a data analyst and not a golfer. O was hoping for something much simpler. I spend times between holes trying to enter my last fairway info and it is inaccurate most of the time. This isn't for the average player looking to get basic info on your game. It’s helped me improve my game and the range finder on the Apple Watch is invaluable. This review is after only 1 round so keep that in mind. What is needed, and somehow lacking, is a simple “add shot” button!!!! I like the “+” it gives you when it thinks you hit a given shot (I don’t have an Apple watch), BUT ONCE YOU SAY NO to that suggested shot, it’s gone and can not be added again. WHAT?? I found this extremely frustrating time and again. So my suggestion is, never say no, just say yes to the suggested shot areas and move the shot to the spot you hit it from. But developer team, come on!! So simple, so needed, would make user experience so much better. Maybe a simple long hold adds the “ + “ and you can edit from there. A couple other areas I found to be buggy. Twice it had me for 1 more stroke than I scored and it refused to let me take it off? When I tried to use the rolling score feature to roll down to lesser #, it told me I had too many strokes GPS-ed ….. so then I went back to where it showed all my shots and it wouldn’t allow me to take it out? ### 3/5 — Decent App But Much Needed UI Improvements *2024-08-15, version 2.20.8* I use a lot of golf apps out there and found this one to stand out most with its unique hole history data and graphics. The process of entering club data could be tedious and at times distracting from the actual game. I have done away with it by using smart sensor to detect clubs data but I still occasionally use the app because of the history function. However, I am quickly losing interests with no major updates and the dated UI could use a major facelift. I am hopeful that these will be done in due time. Simple to use. Gives useful info. Easy to advance holes on your wrist w/o having to fumble looking for phone. That is the best feature. I’ve tried others but this is easiest to use. ### 3/5 — Not as easy as it makes out *2024-06-04, version 2.20.1* I’ve tried this and although works well tracking (some) shots it becomes hard to use if you forget to record the shot with no obvious way to go back. Once you enter a score it guesses where you took shots if missed and often wildly out. Although can be corrected after the game, I find it difficult to do so and don’t bother. I have been wondering to upgrade to a paid version but don’t want to commit if it doesn’t help these issues. ### 4/5 — Worked great until… *2024-06-01, version 2.20.1* This app worked well until it changed to Roundabout. Note when looking the round summary or hole by hole the app crashes. Looking at the scorecard seems to work fine. Maybe just an update is needed. Also while my regular course is included there are only options for white and yellow tees but not red.
