### 4/5 — Love using this with Trello

*2024-08-12, version 1.97*

This has been the most useful for my GTD board with Trello. Thank you!

Would love to be able to filter by labels so I can show only work labelled tasks or home projects mix.

### 3/5 — Love it, and…

*2024-01-19*

I love that it syncs with Todoist for my school assignments. I would love to see the auto break option work in the app. Also, can we please get a widget?

### 3/5 — Timer doesn’t sound

*2024-01-03*

Timer doesn’t go off even though I’ve checked the settings. Many UI issues—app has fantastic potential.

### 4/5 — Great App, Needs Revision

*2023-06-24*

The integrations on this app are fantastic. The interface needs some revision. The project screen didn’t allow me to scroll all the way down to select items at the bottom. I found a workaround to this by working from my integrated filters rather than my projects lists. The screen that shows what percentage of my logged time is devoted to specific tasks cuts off the very edge of the numerals and symbols. There is a lot of potential here, and I would like a smoother interface. I look forward to seeing this app develop.

### 4/5 — Fantastic concept, better on desktop

*2022-02-14*

The menu on the iPhone app doesn’t properly account for the notch.

Definitely very useful regardless.

### 3/5 — No Apple integration

*2021-07-23, version 1.5.18*

Please make it sync with Apple Reminders!

### 2/5 — Unreliable and buggy

*2021-07-17, version 1.5.18*

When tracking PomoDone time through the iOS app I find myself constantly running into problems that prevent reliable tracking. Sometimes when running in the background it will fail to notify me when a timer is up. Or it will wail to sync because of an expired token. And sometimes when I’m curious how much time i have left on a timer, when I bring the app back into focus it does this weird thing where it starts counting down really fast (like 2-3 timer seconds per second of actual time) from the time that it showed last time it was in focus. I have to wait sometimes several minutes to see when the timer “catches up” to the real time so I can see how much is left on the timer, or that the timer has ended some unknown amount of time ago. It’s awkward, unreliable, and overall more trouble than it’s worth.

### 3/5 — Registration required

*2020-09-28, version 1.5.18*

Not sure why I have to create an account to use this. Three stars because it looks okay but I’ve deleted it.

### 3/5 — Love the integrations, with critical flaws

*2020-09-18*

Integrating with Trello and Zapier is awesome. This Pomodoro app is definitely the most developer friendly one I’ve seen.

However the timer seems to stop in the background in iOS 13.7. My battery is 100% health and this happens intermittently regardless of what else I’m doing on my phone. This is a critical flaw because the whole reason to use a Pomodoro is to track time. When the timer stops while put in the background the app cannot fulfill its purpose.

### 3/5 — Clunky

*2019-12-14*

Was difficult to synch. The layout is a bit messy but as best I can tell it works

### 2/5 — Nothing but a white screen

*2019-09-18*

Love the desktop app. Wish this app was just as solid. Once I log into the app all I get is a white screen. Quite disappointing as there’s lots of potential for a great app.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your report, this issue is resolved already, can you please update the app?

### 2/5 — Great service marred by a horrible app

*2019-09-11, version 1.5.12*

If you use Trello and want to start with the pomodoro technique, you need to look no Further than PomoDone. Let’s you run timers on tasks in one or more of your trello boards. It even has cross platform support on windows, Mac, Linux and android.

EXCEPT if you own an iPad. The iPad app will start fine and ask for your login credentials. But as soon as you login, instead of displaying your task, it shows nothing. Zip. Nada. It just presents a white screen. I’d be happy to give the service 5 stars if the app worked well.

### 3/5 — A concern

*2019-06-06, version 1.5.11*

I thought all subscriptions needed to be through The App Store.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Glitching

*2023-11-30*

Can’t delete the default task items. I just want to skip them and get started but for some reason there’s no way to delete them. Very annoying. Don’t know if this is a glitch or what.

### 1/5 — Services

*2023-06-24*

I tried several times last night and this morning to connect it to services. I connected it to g calendar but it never showed as connected in the app- but the option to choose it again disappeared. Tried to connect both versions of Asana but they never opened when I selected them.

### 1/5 — Horrible, snarky product team.

*2021-09-05, version 1.5.18*

Product manager sends unsolicited automated emails, and refuses to take email off mailing list. Extremely snarky and unprofessional product team.

### 1/5 — Registration required - deleted

*2021-07-24, version 1.5.18*

Yet another app you cannot review/see if it’s what you need without registering first, instantly deleted.

### 1/5 — Hire a UI designer please

*2020-12-15*

HUGE potential. Great idea focusing on cross platform and integrations first. NOW is the time redo the UI.

### 1/5 — crippled critical functions

*2020-01-26*

When creating a new task on iOS, the keyboard pushes the task description off the screen so you can't see what your typing.

There is no obvious way to delete an item.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2019-09-17, version 1.5.12*

Getting “You are offline” error

### 1/5 — App crashing

*2019-09-12*

This has been a favorite app of mine for a couple of years. All of a sudden, it is crashing and giving me a blank screen I open the program.

I have updated the Pomodone app and my iOS system 12.4.1), and I’m using a iPhone 8+.

**Developer response:** Thanks for your report, this issue is resolved already, can you please update the app?

### 2/5 — The UI font size on iPad is too large.

*2023-11-04*

As title.

### 2/5 — Timer Pause

*2022-01-23*

The timer pauses when the phone has been idle for 10+ minutes, so I have to keep checking the clock, which defeats the purpose of the timer.

Could you increase the priority of this app to let it run in the background?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The best of all despite the weather

*2025-02-26, version 1.97*

I've been with you since the first year and changing the name has been very smart. There is no other app in the entire Apple and Android app store that is so good in the management technique with timer and synchronizable with the applications I use for my project management. THERE IS NO BETTER, I've tried them all and I know what I'm talking about. Congratulations, guys 👏

### 5/5 — Great when used with Todoist

*2023-09-14, version 1.92*

Been looking for a decent task manager that I can sync with time tracking features. Never found anything decent until this lovely combination had arrived! Also it seems to sync whether on mobile or desktop. Seamless so far!

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2021-04-05*

This is currently the only solution I’ve found that syncs live timers across platforms, including web and Windows. Also allows fine-grained control of notifications. Plus there are integrations. Miles ahead of the competition.

(Please add widgets!)

### 5/5 — Best Pomodoro App Ever

*2020-08-08*

I have tried literally every pomodoro app out there. This app is spectacular in two ways:

1. It is available on every single platform, including PC and iOS.

2. THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON: This app is unique because it SYNCS REAL-TIME between devices!! So if I start a timer on my iPhone, I can see how much time I have left in the session on my iPad which I use to study and do work. This is a feature no other app has, and it is phenomenal imo.

Thanks Pomodone team!

### 5/5 — Great app with tons of app integration

*2020-07-07*

I am a huge fan of this app. The ability to sync tasks from Trello has made me so productive. This app has help me stay focused and stay on track throughout the workday.

### 5/5 — Recommend for productivity geeks

*2019-11-04, version 1.5.13*

Worth trying for those who use different project management tools and love pomodoro technique

### 5/5 — It does what it is meant to do. And it does more!

*2019-03-02, version 1.5.8*

I’ve been using the app for a week and it helps a lot to set timers for your tasks. This app does it very well and there were no problems when syncing with Todoist.

### 5/5 — Great tool. I love the jira integration

*2019-01-06*

Keep up the good work

### 5/5 — Great app for measuring and maximising productivity

*2018-10-13, version 1.5.1*

I have been using the free version for a few weeks now and it’s become one of my favourite tools, both in work and at home. It integrates really well with Todoist and Trello. You can add tasks, and complete tasks, these actions sync between apps and devices. It’s multi platform so readily accessible in any situation. I have been using the download function to track what tasks I’ve been working on and use this list for my weekly work review. It’s also great for tracking personal progress as it’s so easy to forget what you’ve spent time on, whether this is productive or not. I highly recommend this app

### 5/5 — Integrations

*2018-09-18*

I love this because of how it ties in with my Todoist account. Productivity boosted!

**Developer response:** Thank you! Much appreciated!
