### 5/5 — Necessary app for European travel

*2026-04-30*

I love Le Walk!! I’ve used their guided tours in Paris and London and they’re so informative and detailed and add to the trip. Highly highly recommend.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-04-17*

Really an outstanding app. Even if there’s not a curated city guide yet, when you have it open it gives you the history of the town. AND ITS FREE! This is genius, and hope my clients love it just as much!

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2026-03-20, version v1.1.18*

My whole family enjoyed

### 5/5 — Perfect tour!

*2026-03-16, version v1.1.18*

I am a certified tour hater. I love this app and the tours it provides. Each tour has a blend of history and personal anecdotes.

### 4/5 — Efficient

*2026-03-13*

It was hard to use at first as I didn’t understand if I needed to be in a particular landmarks before direction and tour starts. It was confusing to get direction from my hotel to the first landmark. And it sometimes doesn’t tell you when you’ve passed the direction and does not redirect until u actually start from where you started from. I was able to use google maps to get to the first landmark and used le walk after.

Despite these challenges, it was helpful when I got the hang of it. I really enjoyed the stories behind the buildings which made me appreciate my adventure more. It even gives more information about streets before you get to the destination which made it even more sentimental

### 5/5 — Tolle Führungen

*2026-03-12*

### 5/5 — The Future of Travel

*2026-03-10*

I’m not one to regularly write reviews, much less a 5-star review. I discovered Le Walk on TikTok as I was preparing to spend a month in Paris while on sabbatical. I wanted to make the most of the city with the time I did have before returning to the “real world.” Le Walk not only met but exceeded all my expectations. I felt like I truly got to know the city and more. I finished every guided tour feeling inspired. The user interface felt intuitive, simple, and to the point. Additionally, through the creators in the app and on social media, Le Walk gave me so many recommendations that made my experience better! My only complaint is I wish I had known about the other cities for my previous trips and that there was Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka for my future trips! Thank you, Le Walk for giving me an unforgettable experience.

### 5/5 — DOWNLOAD IT! THE BEST!

*2026-02-22*

The greatest audio guide I’ve ever used! The directions, the knowledge, the background music. It’s so good. Don’t pay for expensive tours, use this app! I just finished the Colosseum tour and it was so incredible my partner and I were left in tears. Cannot recommend this enough

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-02-20, version v1.1.15*

This app is amazing for visiting the city. My goal is to walk all the Le Walk walks. Try it!!

### 5/5 — This little app is AMAZING

*2026-01-14, version v1.1.13*

I LOVE the yours in this app- even significantly more than I thought I would

### 5/5 — Love this app!

*2025-12-27, version v1.1.12*

My husband and sister and I used this app to explore Paris and it was amazing! Easy to use, insightful topics and information, and free!! Excited for more tours in the future in more destinations.

### 5/5 — Best Friend in Europe

*2025-12-05, version v1.1.10*

We got this app for the Louvre specifically, since it’s an overwhelming museum. However, we ended up keeping this app and using it for the tour of Monmarte as well as in London! The guides are easy to understand, funny, and take you to places you’d never see just by looking online or in YouTube videos for “top 10 things..” HIGHLY recommend using this app in Rome, Barcelona, London, Paris, etc. I hope they release more and more tours! I’d happily pay for this after experiencing it.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Where are all the 100 comments?

*2026-05-23*

This whole thing looks like a scam... No way I'm letting my info in there...

### 1/5 — explore option needs a ton of work

*2026-04-20, version v1.1.24*

this review is only for the new explore mode that was released; when i’m out on the field (mexico/japan/korea), either the content doesn’t load or if i happen to be on wifi it’s just music without any information content.

i’ve used the guides in paris and they worked amazingly, it’s a shame the quality of the app isn’t consistent with the explore mode yet or that more cities (outside of europe) aren’t available on le walk

### 1/5 — Could not get a single tour to work

*2026-03-31*

While I love the concept of this app and appreciated all the recommendations from their social media accounts, I could not get a single tour to work. I had planned most of my trip to Paris and London around different Le Walk tours. I tried downloading over WiFi and over data with no success. I tried going to the locations themselves and connecting to their WiFi with no luck. I read all the troubleshooting FAQs and reached out with the virtual tour guide chat with no luck in fixing the issue. Incredibly frustrating as the previews all played just fine! Highly disappointed in Le Walk’s app.

**Developer response:** Hey! First, really want to apologize for the issues you encountered. We work really hard to make sure users have great experiences with the product, and we're sorry to have missed the mark!

Sometimes when we see these types of issues, it's to do with device memory/storage. To be sure we'll need to debug your session - please feel free to reach out directly by clicking "Text the CEO" in Settings.

Thank you again for your trust, and we share your disappointment. Appreciate you helping us make the product better.

### 1/5 — AI SUCKS

*2026-03-28*

False advertising

**Developer response:** Hey! Sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the experience. We want our users to have a high degree of satisfaction, and we're sorry it missed the mark.

Transparently, as we note, some voices are generative clones of actual guides. We use these clones to i) provide tours in every major language, increasing our product's accessibility globally, as well as ii) correcting the tours whenever things change in the world - that's why Le Walk's tours are always the most up-to-date, even in very tricky places like the Musée D'Orsay.

We appreciate the feedback and hope that you're able to give us a second chance.

### 1/5 — Dissapointing

*2025-08-01, version v1.0.30*

Only allowing to play Teasers even after I downloaded tour. Impossible to reach out to the team for support.

### 1/5 — Poor App Design

*2025-07-16*

While I am sure the content is quite compelling, the app itself is unusable. After about five minutes the audio stopped working, and it suggested I ‘re-join’ the tour a few meters ahead. Unfortunately it kept doing this issue as I progressed. I managed to walk the whole tour without the audio ever restarting. It’s particularly moronic that you cannot rewind the tour or restart from a point of your choice. Makes the app totally unusable when it breaks. Would not recommend to anyone unless it is fixed; waste of time.

### 1/5 — Not tourist friendly

*2025-06-08*

Even if you download the tour you want it needs data and your location to work. It ate through 2.5 Gs of data for an 1 hour internal and external tour of Notre Dame. It also won’t start until you’re standing the in exact spot they designated. I ended up just YouTubing history for each attraction after the failure at Notre Dame. Less data and actually go at your own pace.

**Developer response:** Hi! We're really sorry to hear about your experience, and we truly appreciate your feedback.

We do our best to keep data usage as low as possible, but we know there's always room for improvement. We are also working on dynamic starting points, so that our experiences can be more flexible as well. We hope you’ll consider giving us another try when you're back in Paris, Rome, or any of the other cities we expand to next!

A couple of things to keep in mind for next time:

Pre-download tours on Wi-Fi: For travelers looking to conserve data, we recommend downloading tours in advance while connected to Wi-Fi. Once downloaded, the tour works fully offline—even in airplane mode. Minimal data is used while taking a pre-downloaded tour.

Downloads expire after 7 days: If you don’t take the tour within a week, you will need to re-download it.

GPS doesn’t use data: We rely on GPS to make the experience immersive and location-accurate. GPS itself doesn’t consume data, but it can impact battery life, so we recommend starting your day with a fully charged phone.

It's all free: All of our experiences are currently free! We are a new app with a mission to become the highlight of your trip, so any and all feedback is welcomed:)

Thanks again, and we hope you try us out again soon!

### 2/5 — AI Slop

*2026-03-24*

We did a couple of walking tours over our weekend in Paris - for the most part the tours were good, but we noticed that the guides would randomly change their pronunciation of the Paris suburbs and spoke without consistent rhythm.

AI chatbot in the app revealed the voices used are all AI generated.

The tours ‘may’ be written by a human but I really can’t trust that they are. It was particularly dodgy that it asks you to send the tour guide money after the walking tour.

Our guided tours are all written, painstakingly, by humans. We work with the top guides in every city to put those out, and would not diminish our credibility otherwise. We also compensate them, while still maintaining a totally free experience, like the one you experienced.

Please feel free to reach out via the Text the CEO feature in Settings. We'd be glad to address any concerns you have directly.

We appreciate the feedback and hope that you're able to give us a second chance.

### 2/5 — Stopped working

*2025-04-27, version v1.0.24*

We are in Paris for a couple of months and were able to do two tours and really enjoyed them. Last week we tried a walk in the Marais and the app failed. Same issue today: tried a walk near Odeon in the 6th and the app failed.

### 3/5 — Beautiful Walks, Brutal App

*2025-07-09, version v1.0.30*

I want to love Le Walk. I really do. The walks themselves are stunning; thoughtfully curated, full of charming detail, and exactly the kind of poetic meander you dream of when you picture Paris on foot. Cobblestones, secrets, shady boulevards, a bit of history and whimsy. It’s all there. But then the app part kicks in.

Le Walk is like going on a date with someone gorgeous who keeps getting you lost and refuses to admit it. If your GPS location is even slightly off (say, because you’re standing on the wrong side of the street in search of shade - God forbid!), it throws a tantrum.

It will not adapt. It will not let you skip ahead. It will not accept that sometimes in life, you accidentally go too far and just want to continue from there. No - it makes you double back like a punished child retracing your steps for 10 minutes because you dared to wander off the approved path. There’s no “continue from here” button. No graceful recalculating. Just a loop of stubbornness and confusion. So yes, the walks are wonderful. But the app? A beautiful, maddening beast that needs some serious UX therapy.

Fix the navigation and you’ve got a gem. Until then, bring patience, a portable charger, and a strong tolerance for walking in circles.

### 5/5 — Geniale App für Reisen

*2026-07-20*

Eine wunderbare App, liebevoll gestaltete, informative Touren. Unsere Reise nach Paris wäre ohne diese tolle App nur halb so schön geworden. Unbedingte Empfehlung!!

### 5/5 — Surreal and spooky

*2026-07-18, version v1.2.2*

The stories are so engaging and having explore mode on actually feels like someone is walking beside you. Can’t wait to keep exploring with this

### 5/5 — Amazing way to experience a city

*2026-06-16*

I was on a layover in Paris yesterday and got to check out LeWalk. Would sum it up in 1 word: delightful. It just feels wonderful and seamless to use. You learn so much interesting stuff about a city, and you get to do it at your own pace. Highly recommend

### 5/5 — Review

*2026-06-12, version v1.2.1*

Amazing and so helpful all through Italy so grateful for this resource when we didn’t have a guide or were confused on a building,

### 5/5 — Fantastic way to see a city

*2026-06-11*

I love how we can get a guided tour but on our own schedule. Thanks for creating such a useful app

### 5/5 — Much better than expected

*2026-06-05*

I downloaded this for a future Paris trip. But saw it covered other cities including Rome. We used it at the Vatican and the Colosseum and both audio guides were excellent and we knew exactly where to go on each step. Interesting information, but not too much made it ideal for our day of exploring.

### 5/5 — A must for your trip to Paris

*2026-05-22, version v1.1.27*

We loved using Le Walk on our recent trip to Paris. It enhanced our city experience as well as our time at Versailles gardens, the Orsay and the L’ Orangerie. A great find.

### 5/5 — Superbe

*2026-05-13*

I just arrived in Paris and downloaded this app, and I’m already impressed — the content is so rich and engaging, I really love it!

I also really hope the coverage can expand to more regions across France!
