### 3/5 — Reset thermostat worked better

*2026-05-25*

My thermostat was still connected to the home Wi-Fi but not to the Carrier server. This app gave me information on my network but it was of no help to me. Taking the thermostat off the wall and having it do a hard reboot fixed my problem.

### 2/5 — What next

*2025-09-10, version 26.6.0*

Not sure what’s going on. I followed the instructions and it kept repeating and repeating.
It would be nice if I knew what to do next.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2023-05-30, version 25.0.5*

This app is completely useless, slow and worthless

### 1/5 — Innacurate

*2023-01-21, version 25.0.0*

Have false readings, I had speed checked by IT provider. Neato using unstable network as excuse for inability to download software when I have very fast optical fiber video downloads

### 1/5 — Load of rubbish

*2023-01-18, version 25.0.0*

Was directed to use this app when one of the several devices on my security network stopped responding. It rated my network as “poor” which was a surprise as all devices had worked well for months.
I downloaded several other similar apps and each rated my network as “excellent” I await feedback from my security equipment supplier but suspect this will just be an exercise on shifting blame. We shall see.

### 3/5 — Why

*2022-12-15, version 25.0.0*

Why is this on my phone? did Apple install it as native? I definitely did not download

### 1/5 — No Access Code. Time to move on

*2022-12-15, version 25.0.0*

Have had Blink for several years. Amazon took over and slowly deteriorated. Just now 8 cameras all went offline. Told to try this app. Just asks for an acces code not given to me.
Think its time to move on to a real security system

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2022-12-08, version 22.02.18*

This app is completely unreliable for diagnostics. Ran the app several times, minutes apart, and it gave me different results each time regarding which devices had poor performance and the speed of the internet connection. Nothing had changed with respect to the devices or their location or status.

### 1/5 — What code

*2022-11-13, version 22.02.18*

I don’t know how to get a access code

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2022-11-08, version 22.02.18*

Customer service is no more. I called blink. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes listening to the same 15 seconds of pounding piano on perpetual repeat I cancelled the call. It was that or kill myself. Then I found they had an app just for this issue. They said download this app before calling support. I thought that meant the app would diagnose the issue of “system unavailable”. NOPE! The first thing it wants is a four digit code provided by tech support. I’m on the verge of packing up this entire garbage system and sending back to Bazos in a million pieces. It’s a lousy system anyway. It takes far to long to get notifications. It takes far too long to connect to a camera to see what triggered the notification. By the time it connects whoever was there is long gone. All that’s left to see is someone walk past the camera. It’s junk.

### 1/5 — A Teflon shoulder app for tech support

*2022-10-29, version 22.02.18*

Was asked to download this app to aid diagnosis for troublesome smart lamp not fully pairing to their mobile app. Much like other reviews tech support said problem was with my poor 2.4 WI-FI signal on my UniFi APs.
Funny thing was that my network was seeing the device, I could ping the device and once booted Home Assistant could see and control the device. Luckily I’m not relying on the smart device manufacturers app.
Probably nothing wrong with this app just their customers.

### 1/5 — Not that great

*2022-10-18, version 22.02.18*

I have great speeds thought my house but they still wanted me to down load this app. I run the test I have 156.9 Mbps download and 139.5 Mbps upload and my network health is poor. I also have full bars in my phone. I logged into my Zone director and have very little packet loss. I’ll stick with my WiFi Analyzer and Speedtest apps.

### 1/5 — Live video slow loading

*2022-08-08*

I called tech support on 8/7-22. The tech support person was nice and tried multiple fixes and tests, was on the phone for 45 minutes with him. In the end, my problem never got solved. When you try to get live video after a vendor rings the doorbell, it takes almost 30 seconds for the live video to load, and the talk function is available. By that time, if it’s UPS or FedEx , they are gone before you can talk to them. I wouldn’t recommend Blink doorbell or cameras to anyone, they can’t fix the problems with their servers.

### 1/5 — Everyone thinks its sketchy thats not the problem

*2022-04-11*

I reported issues of my controllers needing light despite having a over abundance of it then they told me to use this app and i found no problems yet i still cant use my headset doesn't help 90% of the problems out there and shouldn't be immediately recommended.
The app isn't sketchy if you gave it permissions to literally everything in your house stop panicking but its still a bad method in general

### 2/5 — Makes no sense

*2022-04-07, version 22.02.18*

I am rather tech savvy, and I am not sure how to use this app. Why support asked that I downloaded to be able to troubleshoot some issues with a couple of smart devices however I was never provided with an access code. When I went to ask the Wyze support robot for a access code I was unable to get the message across please if anybody has any advice on how to get this code let me know thank you

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Inaccurate feedback

*2026-04-29, version 26.13.0*

Was recommended (by customer support) to use this app as part of troubleshooting my issues with Owlet baby monitor system. This app stated my internet connection was poor however when I check this with other sites my internet was working completely fine, and most of them saying my internet was strong!
Not a good app to be honest! Rubbish actually!

### 1/5 — Owlet Dream Sock

*2026-04-19*

Owlet Dream sock wouldn’t connect to my home WiFi. They apparently partnered with this app as their official partnered support app. When I click the owlet provided link, I am supposed to be able to enter “OWLT” to get a specific diagnostic for why it won’t work. This page will not open, I cannot input anywhere that I am trying to connect an Owlet device. I can only perform a general scan of my WiFi to see if it is working. Which it, of course, is working fine.

### 1/5 — Unacceptable

*2025-02-27, version 26.1.0*

Just unacceptable! It doesn't work properly.

### 1/5 — Pointless!

*2024-12-13, version 26.0.5*

Was advised to download this app to troubleshoot issues with Meta Quest 2

So I duly did what I was told …… did the network test, result was 130mbps download speed (which is my max download). But they had found way to improve my network? Hallelujah!

“The Wi-Fi connection quality in this area of your home is poor.”

Eh? That’s my max download speed! Hardly poor!

Next please 🙄🤬

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2024-12-12, version 26.0.5*

App doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Don’t work

*2024-10-16, version 26.0.3*

This app is about as worthless as the Watts Home App. Neither one is good and doesn’t communicate well with their devices.

### 1/5 — Spyware

*2024-09-23, version 26.0.2*

Spyware hack bots

### 1/5 — Please someone form a class action

*2023-12-01*

Forget reading these reviews—the fact this app even exists is decent indicator of how poor Bryant (Carrier) customer service is, and how poorly engineered their products are, which are designed to be anti-competitive. Thermostats like a nest with similar basic functionality like wifi access have wifi access disabled when they connect to a Bryant machine. This is adversarial software design, implemented by 3rd-rate software engineers, and customers suffer.

### 1/5 — No transparency so it’s hard to trust it

*2023-11-19, version 25.0.5*

I was asked to use this app to diagnose a problem with a Phillips smart bulb. They came back to me and said there were too many WiFi networks competing for channels in the house. Three phones and a laptop can’t detect any other WiFi networks at all, so how does this app which is running on my phone claim to detect so many?
In light of the fact I can’t see the results, and no other devices on my network are having problems, I have to go with the majority here and say this app doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2023-08-26, version 25.0.5*

Tried to troubleshoot a blink doorbell that was not responding after adding it to my network. Again and again.

After scanning, it told me my network was Very Good.

Also told me there was 1 issue. And that I should click on the issue for details… BUT IT NEVER SHOWS ANY LINK.

With nothing to do, and no other options to choose, no menu or functions to explore, this app tells me NOTHING. Tried it 3 times. Shame on me.

Clearly the issue is The App Itself.

Uninstalled.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Thanks for the help

*2025-02-26*

I was able to isolate my problem down to a bad wireless network card in my PlayStation 4. I had blamed the Internet provider for bad service and a terrible router for my intermittent connection issues on my PS4, but after using this tool, I was able to determine that my PS4 was the cause. Thanks for the help and for allowing me to stop bugging my ISP.

### 5/5 — Route This Helps

### 5/5 — Great wireless diagnostic app

*2022-09-19, version 22.02.18*

This is a great diagnostic tool was able to pinpoint issues in my home network. Did recommended steps, working much better now

### 5/5 — Not Understanding How Adults Finished School

*2022-08-19*

I read most of these reviews. Not a single bad review is about the app itself. It's complaints of the issues not being resolved. THAT'S NOT WHAT THIS APP IS FOR! I had an issue with my Blink camera and this app provided data for myself and Blink to single out possible issues. Some of you call it scetchy, as you give the app access lol smh. If you do not know what you're doing, go back to school or leave technology alone. I'm sick of seeing bad reviews making me think something is bad when the reality is I live in a world of uneducated human beings that will complain over anything that doesn't go their way! P.S...this app DID its job as it was DESIGNED to do.

### 5/5 — It helped a little

*2022-04-24, version 22.02.18*

### 5/5 — Pérez

### 5/5 — Fixed My Problem

*2021-10-18*

This app actually works! I was experiencing problems with my blink camera system, and the blink support page recommended using this app. The app was easy to use and the directions were easy to follow. The app diagnosed my system and discovered 2 issues that were effecting my network, and also provided recommendations on how to fix the issues. I followed the app recommended fixes and now my system is working great. I definitely appreciate the help provided by this app and will use it again if I experience any future problems with my system or network. Thanks for the assist!

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2021-10-09, version 21.09.22*

So good, helped me change my channel on the modem through my provider and made my Internet faster again! Yay! Thanks!

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2021-07-15, version v21.04.01*

My service provider had me run a scan using this app. Figured out what was going on and knew where the issue was right away. Very happy to get everything back online so quickly.

### 5/5 — Helped fix my internet

*2021-07-15, version v21.04.01*

I was having issues with low speeds and buffering video but this app was in my internet provider’s website and gave me suggestions to fix internet. It is much faster now. Thanks!
