### 4/5 — Harper

*2026-07-14, version 1.9.50*

Good

### 4/5 — Super helpful app

*2026-07-12, version 1.9.50*

This app is awesome for managing and timing routines! Super helpful, especially for getting ready for work in the morning - and I appreciate the simplicity (no gamification to get distracted by). Hoping a couple of glitches will get fixed in future updates (app sometimes freezes when ending a routine; routine reminder times sometimes get deleted; link to contact support from settings doesn’t work).

### 3/5 — would be amazing if you could make more than one routine for the free version

*2026-07-06, version 1.9.50*

this would have gotten a full 5 starts if it wasn’t for the fact that you can only make one routine without paying - that part is so unrealistic for me, so i had to delete it - but it has a smooth interface, is clean, & allows you to time yourself (which is GREAT for my adhd). i wish i could use this app.

### 2/5 — What happened?

*2026-06-22, version 1.9.50*

Did this app start doing some chunky AI processing in the background? Overnight it started having irritating 2-3 second laggy delays between completing steps, and sometimes I will find I’m partway through the workday only to find my phone clogged with “routine step X minutes overdue!” for my morning routine that I already finished. 🥴

### 4/5 — Loved before the update

*2026-06-07, version 1.9.50*

I absolutely loved this app before the most recent update and found it extremely helpful with maintaining my routines. Now I have been experiencing two persistent glitches, the worst being that the feature that announces the task’s halfway point no longer works—even when the setting is toggled on. This was the most important feature for me and the app no longer works effectively without it. Additionally, the Home Screen of the app only shows my morning routine, regardless of time of day, and the other routines are difficult to access. I miss the old layout and hope the team is working to address these bugs.

### 3/5 — Glitchy

*2026-04-19, version 1.9.50*

I love this app when it is working properly. There is a glitch that when the phone locks while the routine task is still going, you have to start the whole routine over again when you unlock the phone. Super inconvenient for a person who needs to time my tasks so that I am not late to most things!

### 3/5 — I like it but

*2026-03-10, version 1.9.50*

I like this app it helps a lot but for some reason it won’t let me create another routine!

### 2/5 — Unresponsive

*2026-03-08, version 1.9.50*

Thomas the developer often doesn't respond, just as the app no longer responds to completing the final step in a routine. There is no closure, no completion. I was hoping the latest version fixed it, but it didn't. Quitting and restarting the app makes no difference.

### 1/5 — Useless app

*2026-02-28, version 1.9.49*

You can only make one routine without paying. Kinda useless for someone with ADHD who needs multiple different routines (me) and I refuse to pay a subscription for the basic function of the app

### 2/5 — App crashed

*2026-02-26, version 1.9.48*

Thomas the developer often doesn't respond so I'm just saying here the app has crashed for me. Quitting and restarting the app continues the crashes state, which makes the app unusable now. Maybe I could use it to delete and reinstall which then may delete all my routines.

### 4/5 — Doesn't Open After Update

*2026-02-24, version 1.9.47*

Since the most recent update the app won't open. It shows the splash screen and then crashes. I am still on iOS 16, but the app store says the app is compatible with iOS 14 or later.

### 3/5 — Been using this app for 3 years

*2026-02-23, version 1.9.47*

Seems like my previous review got deleted,
The app works great for the most part

I tried contacting support, but never get replies.

Please remove the countdown between each task

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Cannot edit routine without starting timer

*2026-07-13, version 1.9.50*

Wrote them back in June. Just wrote again. For such a simple app it should be easy to edit a routine. Every time I try I start the timer. Not happy. Will look for another app.

### 1/5 — Would be good

*2026-07-09, version 1.9.50*

On free you can only create one routine that’s it and everything else you gotta play 8$ a month or 59$ a year. Why does everything needs to be a subscription. Your better off going pen and paper or you use the free app on your iPhone

### 1/5 — Contact for support

*2026-06-15, version 1.9.50*

There is nowhere to contact for support, and I’ve recently switched phones and don’t want to have to pay again for a subscription when I already purchased a lifetime subscription on my old phone.

### 1/5 — Great! But not free

*2026-06-09, version 1.9.50*

This app used to be usable without a subscription but currently you can only make one routine and cannot edit that routine or replace it. It is super helpful for staying on task but unfortunately it is very much a subscription service despite being a free app.

### 1/5 — Not impressed

*2026-05-23, version 1.9.50*

The first weekend I came to my normal routine was supposed to not trigger but was triggered instead of the one that was supposed to be triggered. They force you into a subscription which for adhd people means they are very likely to get at least a month out of you because we are more likely to literally forget/put off canceling the subscription instead of just having a 7 day trial and then offering the subscription. It felt more like a todo list with an annoying reminder which now apple reminders have (urgent/alarms) so I see nothing here that is worth the subscription.

### 1/5 — Can’t cancel free trial

*2026-04-22, version 1.9.50*

I am having the worst time with cancelling this. I don’t use it and it charged me for the year. There is no way to cancel that I can tell and I’m upset I am paying for an app that I don’t really want. If you aren’t sure if it’ll work do not try it if you aren’t great at figuring out tech or apps.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-04-11, version 1.9.50*

Can't do anything easily. Zero stars.

### 1/5 — No longer free

*2026-03-26, version 1.9.50*

I have been using this app for years to get my life together, and use it to get up in the morning to help my severe depression. This morning the app changed and said I had to spend £30 to use it. It basically forces you to buy Pro- there’s no way to click out of it to stay on the free version. I can’t afford this and didn’t have my routine to complete which ruined my day as i’m super reliant on it. I will be switching to Routinery going forward.

### 1/5 — Customer service sucks💔

*2026-03-18, version 1.9.50*

They charged me even though the app wasn’t even on my phone when I was charged . And refuse to at least let me use the subscription I paid for .

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2026-03-02, version 1.9.49*

I have 3 devices (1 Work, 1 Personal, 1 leasure but I cant make calls on it) I have this app on an Android zfold device, an Iphone, and an S23... The iphone is constantly crashing before it will even open! The 2 android devices dont have a "save" button after I use the AI task breakdown feature! So it just sit there! Its a nice app when ig works but because it LITTERALLY WILL NOT WORK ON ANY OS...ITS A TERRIBLE EFFKNG APP!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — GREAT 👍👏😊

*2026-06-11, version 1.9.50*

Great 👍😊😊

### 5/5 — Super helpful for staying on task

*2026-06-02, version 1.9.50*

I have certain tasks (such as cleaning, or managing 20+ work queues) where it’s important not to either over-invest and run out of time or under-invest and let things get out of hand. I love this app, because it takes all of the guesswork out of this. I just hit start and go from one step to the next, and it has the right audio prompts to let me know when I need to wrap up a step and move onto the next thing or not. I’ve been a subscriber for several years now. In terms of improvements, the only thing on my wishlist is that I wish we could have more options for music tracks, so we could apply different music to different routines. There’s only one track right now. I think it would be nice to have 5 or more good options.

### 5/5 — Super helpful

*2026-05-28, version 1.9.50*

This app is a great way to build routines. I find using this app really helps me start and end my days well. I actually have found another use by building one off routines for my day. It keeps me productive. I appreciate the option to purchase the app at an affordable price point! Highly recommend. Thanks!

### 5/5 — 这是怎么玩呢

*2026-05-20, version 1.9.50*

给

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-05-02, version 1.9.50*

Awesome. You get out of it what you put in it.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-04-25, version 1.9.50*

First time using it and it actually works unlike different onesie

### 5/5 — Missing the old Flow

*2026-03-09, version 1.9.50*

UPDATE 3/9/26: I was excited to see it get a facelift, but I do miss the little sound that played when you completed a task.

Hi RoutineFlow dev(s)! This app has helped me make sure that I’m out of the door for work on time without feeling rushed (so long as I wake up when I’m supposed to). I have used it for over a year!

### 5/5 — Love this app—hoping for more features

*2026-02-16*

This app has helped me make sure that I’m out of the door for work on time without feeling rushed (so long as I wake up when I’m supposed to). I think this app is worth the money for the pro version EXCEPT for one big thing. If the screen goes off, the notification to move to the next step isn’t reliably loud enough for me. I wish this app used critical alerts or something so I could step away from my phone or turn the screen off and still hear when it’s time for the next step. For extra context, I almost always have my phone on silent, so I enable critical alerts for the alarm app I use. I also wish I could modify the buzz vibration it makes. Other than that, it has helped me a lot.

### 5/5 — Simple and Effective

*2026-01-20, version 1.9.44*

I’ve had this app for two weeks or so and it’s been a huge help with my morning routine. I wanted something that would let me build out a routine step by step and show a timer for the step, and this does pretty much exactly that. It was a little tricky to find one that didn’t focus exclusively on habit building and I’m so glad I found this one. I love the simplicity and ability to copy routines. The only feature I’d love to see down the line is the ability to move on the next step on Apple Watch, but in the meantime this is a great app to help support executive function.

### 5/5 — Absolutely love this app but just need to contact the dev!

*2025-12-02, version 1.9.44*

I love this app, it’s so helpful for managing basic tasks and schedules but a feedback option in the app, that works, is essential!!
