What's New in RoutineGuide
2.1.0

RoutineGuide 2.1 brings a true Mac app, new widgets, step history and Apple's own purchase screen. New • RoutineGuide on the Mac is now a real Mac app: a menu bar with the shortcuts you expect, a Settings window, customizable toolbars, and routines that run in their own window. • Up Next and Consistency widgets: your next routine with a Start button, and your streak with the last 7 days, on the Home Screen, the Lock Screen, StandBy and the Mac desktop. They replace the older widgets, so if one disappeared, add one of these. • Tap a step in a routine's stats to see its own history: how often you did or skipped it and its time against the plan. Export History saves your runs as a CSV file. • Put a link in a step, like a video, an app or an Apple Shortcut, and the step shows Open Link or Run Shortcut while it runs. • Shortcuts and Siri can change how long a step lasts, move a step or delete one. • The welcome tour ends with a one-minute sample routine you can start right away. • Upgrading to Pro uses Apple's purchase screen, with Restore, Terms and Privacy built in. • Undo in the routine editor: shake your iPhone, or press ⌘Z with a keyboard. • On iPad, drag a routine out of the Library to share it as a file, or drop one in to import it. Improved • Home starts simpler and uses one card layout on every device, with a larger greeting and companion. Pull down to refresh it. • Consistency and Weekly Pattern open a new Statistics screen. • Activity shows each day as one card, with reactions and comments under the timeline. • The player's speaker button turns Ticking, Voice, Step Chime and Countdown Cues on or off. • Glow is the reward you see; Credit is paused, and your balance is kept. • RoutineGuide uses far less power while a routine runs. • Long routine names wrap instead of being cut off, and long notes show More. • The timer grows with your text size, and VoiceOver reads each step with its planned time. Fixed • Tapping a reminder or a friend-request notification opens the right screen again. • Names with accents or tall letters, like Å, are no longer cut off. • Typing a space in chat or the editors no longer pauses a running routine.
