I hate that other apps just list everything like one big to-do list and not much organization. Having the habit section and being able to do routines is such a big thing. All I have to say is the app is a little glitchy. I wish the habits said the names instead of having to click on it to see which is which. Also, not a need just being picky I wish the layouts for the other tabs were smoother (?don’t know how else to really describe) like the first tab. They are a little glitchy and I end up using my notes app or another journaling app. Even though I have these notes it’s the best calendar/routine/habit app I have ever used and I’ve tried a lot! ### 3/5 — Has potential *2026-06-06, version 2.2.9* It would be nice to add routines to specific days (not every x day. Specific selected days. See: Nursegrid) Also we need widgets!!! ### 3/5 — Loveee the app but.. *2026-05-10, version 2.2.8* I like almost everything about the the app but The app seems to close of me everytime I try add something new like my mood or check something off my to do list. ### 2/5 — don’t sign up unless you’re sure *2026-04-07, version 2.2.4* there is no free trial it will charge you immediately and Apple won’t refund you even though they say they are going to give you a three day free trial and actually don’t ### 3/5 — Doubling in price *2026-03-01* It’s definitely a cute idea and I justified the $2.99 a month to get the features but unfortunately it appears they are raising prices by more than double. Doesn’t seem like a lot when it was $2.99 but I think of it like this - what if it was $10 and it went up to $20? Or $20 and went up to $40?! Ridiculous, right? I ended up cancelling and actually managed to get my apple calendar to look pretty similar in terms of color and structure. It’s pretty easy to do and won’t cost $6/mo going forward. 🤷🏽‍♀️ **Developer response:** Hi! Stay tuned for an email from us in the next week! Routinsie has always been and will be staying $5.99! We had an intro offer for the first month being $2.99 (from Christmas) but we’d love to work this out with you! I 100% understand your concern seeing price increase! Needs improvement in many areas. Habits are clunky to set up, must belong to predefined categories and are binary y/n did you do it today (vs. e.g. being able to log how many times you engaged in a habit or anti-habit daily). Journal prompts are odd and almost seem AI generated with improper grammar too. The whole app feels like a prototype / MVP built by either a contractor or AI for a nontechnical founder with no experience designing apps / UIs. Like they dictated what they wanted without really understanding how much work / expertise it would take to make some fairly complex workflows both scrutable/legible and navigable to a user unfamiliar with the creator's vision. Pretty common really and nothing wrong with that in an early stage but gating the entire thing (app is completely locked) behind a subscription at such a premature state of development is a bit overambitious. There is thankfully a free trial (or I would have immediately uninstalled on encountering the complete paywall) so you can just try it for yourself and cancel the subscription immediately if it isn't what you're looking for. Overall it's a good start. Will check back after a while and see if / how it's evolved. **Developer response:** Hi Rob! I really appreciate all of your insight and you taking the time to leave some feedback. We are definitely in our start up phase, but we did not use AI to create our app. I personally created every single prompt in the app, which is possibly why there are grammatical issues! Haha right from my coaching programs. We also worked closely with a developer to build our app for two years! We completely want to build upon our current UI, overall design, icons etc and make everything that much BETTER. Our app is a work in progress, there’s no doubt about that. We’re working hard everyday to create a better product and life changing brand! Again, your feedback does mean the world. We need this feedback to continue to produce something special. It also won’t let me create events for next year. The whole point of a calendar and planner is to plan ahead and I’m really struggling using this app. If these two things could be fixed it would be a 5/5 for me. **Developer response:** Hi! These things do need to work as our users rely on them and we know that. We are working 24-7 to try to rectify issues! To us, small bugs are BIG bugs. We know the inconvenience for go getters. You’re absolutely right that the custom events, repeat events, as well as favorite routines/ events some devices have been buggy on and off since launch where sometimes they’re working consistently, and then buggy after specifically after updates. This app is ridiculous, $5.99 a month?! Not worth it. This is just another app trying to get your money. To be honest it would be more ideal to have it be free for everyone and include a premium version that unlocks special features. Then it’s fair for both the user and the company. I understand the need for the business to be able to be successful by having users pay. That’s why having a premium version would make more sense. Instead, users go and download thinking they can finally get their life together but then are faced with a paywall and end up deleting it. Don’t bother with this and doing the free trial. It’s just another app taking up storage and trying to get you to pay. I will be sticking with my bestie, Google Calendar.✌️ **Developer response:** Hi! Not even a free version available. Time blocking is by far the biggest life hack for managing a busy schedule & endless to-do lists… and Routinsie allows you to do exactly that!
