However, be aware that when putting your phone number down for competitions, it will find its way onto scammers call lists ### 3/5 — Good but not great. *2026-08-07, version 27.1.4* If you use this as just a phone app, it’s okay. Bit slow but gets the job done. If you intent to use this to listen to your podcasts via Apple CarPlay, it’s a whole different kettle of fish. The app doesn’t remember where you got to in any given episode so you have to start from the beginning every time. And the worst part, if you listen or reply to a text (again through CarPlay) the app doesn’t pause your episode, it closes it. So you then have to go through the process of picking it on your infotainment system again, which is very very slow. It will even play the episode with no sound at times! So the app does a job, Apple CarPlay is non existent. I cannot even find it in Skills now. I can play other stations ok but I prefer Magic Music. It now constantly stops playing and I’m tired of force closing the app and restarting it. I try the run the radio all day but it flattens my iPad in less than a day. Spotify uses less than 10% in a day. Also Rova stops twice a day every day which is annoying. I would use Rova more if it was more reliable and used less battery. ### 1/5 — Battery Hungry! *2026-01-14, version 26.6.18* Since updating this app on my iPhone 14 it is chewing through the battery. 2 hours use takes my battery from 100% to around 35%! The latest update asked me to update my profile. When I did so, it came up as ‘Error: Password too weak. Please use a stronger password’ WTF? The last update was terrible, as I hav to keep selecting my station, as it no longer auto selects it as before. It’s also impossible to save a favorite and takes a number of tries to start playing. You’d think a media company would have a working media app but I guess that’s too hard. It’s such a shame since the available stations are fantastic. Love the experience of being frustrated at having to reload the station, then the show then the episode you were dancing around too multiple times, then by all means download.
