## What is Rowloom?

Rowloom is a focused row and stitch counter for knitters and crocheters who want a simple place keeper that stays out of the way.

Create multiple projects, set target rows and stitches per row, then count with large tap targets and clear haptic feedback. Rowloom rolls stitches into the next row automatically and keeps notes with each project.

Everything is stored locally on your device. Rowloom has no account system, no tracking, no ads, and no subscription.

• Linked counters: a master counter that advances your child counters automatically.
• Repeat-reset counters: count to N, snap back to row 1, and tally your completed repeats (with an optional cap).
• Even shaping calculator: "increase / decrease N stitches evenly" worked out as a plain-English instruction.
• Cast-on planner: snap a desired stitch count to a multiple-plus-edge.
• Per-project materials log with a yardage estimate.
• Project stats dashboard with a per-session tally and a milestone buzz.

### 1.2 — 2026-06-20

Rowloom 1.2 adds pattern repeat tracking - the most-requested capability for knitters working lace, cables, colorwork, or ribbing:

- Pattern repeat tracker: set how many rows your stitch pattern repeats over (2-999 rows), and Rowloom shows "Repeat row 3 of 8" below the counter while you count - no more mental division or scrap-paper tally
- Per-repeat-row notes: add a short instruction for each row of the cycle ("RS: knit", "WS: purl", "chart row B") - the note surfaces automatically when you reach that row
- Gauge-to-clipboard: copy the computed stitch or row count directly from the gauge calculator with one tap and paste it into your target fields - one step instead of three

Rowloom 1.1 is a big update. Multiple named counters per project (sleeves, repeats, increases); a per-counter focus timer and a Finished list; row reminders when you reach a set row; a bundled offline toolbox (needle/hook converter, Craft Yarn Council yarn-weight guide, 160+ knit & crochet abbreviations, gauge calculator, technique notes); hands-free counting with the volume buttons plus a confirm step before Next Row; and project export/import you control.
