So I try to verify by pressing on all cars, traffic lights and all but then it says error and later say I can’t log in cuz too many attempts. I can always use the app except when I have an emergency 😡 ### 2/5 — Gone downhill *2024-03-19, version 335.9.0* Keep hiking the prices without telling anyone - my 6 min commute to work has gone up 1.20 per trip. I use this trip twice a day so my overall commute to work expenditure has gone up by 60 quid a month! Get absolutely no benefits for this and with fuel price coming down this is just robbery. Also the quote fare on the app is never the true price. ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-04-23, version 335.2.1* Was illegally sent vouchers through the post that, according to the leaflet can only be redeemed through the app, however there weren’t any codes to type into the app. If they can’t even knock up a leaflet I wouldn’t trust them to take me from A to B. ### 1/5 — Didn’t even turn up *2023-03-24, version 335.2.1* Pre booked a taxi for 1845. Then to call and ask where my taxi is to be told well we haven’t got a driver because you used the app so one will come when it’s free! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-01-19, version 335.2.1* the driver tried to do an amazing job, tried to get to the place as quickly as possible. But the organization of the car is just terrible !!! I ordered a taxi for my child an hour and a half before the appointed time and my child stood for half an hour on the street in the cold waiting for the car and they started looking for a car to order only after I called the operator at 15.55 (who told me that the car would be in place only 5-10 minutes later and hung up without even apologizing for the delay or explaining the situation! This is just a terrible service!!! Plus you automatically charged me £19.80 when the trip was only £17.00. The taxi did not arrive so at 6.10 I called to be advised the driver was on the way. No taxi arrived still, I called again to then be told there was no available taxis for 20-30 mins despite pre-booking. Is this app an actual Joke? At least give us an app that we can down load & that actually works, would be much appreciated 👍🏼 Just saying ### 1/5 — This app is awful *2024-09-13, version 335.11.0* I would have put 0 stars if it allowed me. Do not use this app to book taxis. Twice it sent the driver to the wrong place even though I could see the location was spot on. Twice I had to go to them on the same day. Try phoning them to book and you get a automated booking service that put me 10 miles away from where I actually was. Been advised by a driver to use the website instead not the app. And I didn’t get a discount. ### 1/5 — DO NOT BOOK WITH ROYAL TAXIS *2024-06-29, version 335.11.0* Booked a taxi that said it was 4 minutes away. 20 minutes later it was driving AWAY from my location so I cancelled the ride. They charged me £3.50 and refused to refund when I explained what happened. Will never use again. ### 1/5 — constant price increases *2024-03-13, version 335.9.0* used this app for about 4 months. During this time the price has increased twice without saying. my trip to and from work takes about 5-7 minutes. this used to cost me 5.30. then they changed the price however, on the app it still said estimated price as 5.30. id get there and be charge £6.50! As if this wasnt enough, today my ride was 5 minutes. estimated price was £6.30, when i got in the car the drivers phone said £7.30 and when he takes pay it takes £7.50. i would love to know how they would justify more than a pound a minute or why they constantly unexpectedly change the price. service majority of the time is very poor and i have been spoke to poorly by a few different drivers. overall very untrustworthy and undeserving company. save your money and use a different service. ### 1/5 — WORSE, WORSENS, WORST. *2024-02-10, version 335.9.0* Utterly horrible.
