Just would not log on and then an error message. Finally a video editing app popped up which I could not recover and go back. Geez what a shambles. I haven’t been able to order uniform or even view my payslips. Would definitely use this all the time if it worked ### 2/5 — Can’t accept authentication *2021-05-26* This app seems useful except for the fact it keeps asking me to authenticate. Which I have.. I’ve tried to do it again, it won’t let me. I’ve deleted the app and still won’t authenticate. Not really sure what else I can do.. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Still garbage after all this time *2024-07-24* No cohesion since its release. Logs out every now and then. The only app that doesn’t work with key chain which is basic stuff. Biometrics are used by the banking industry but this app still needs a ridiculous password for extra authentication. **Developer response:** Please email people.app@royalmail.com if you have an issue. Please use the 'Remember Me' option to save logging in. The people app requires a Memorable phrase to access data sensitive information - this is in place at the request of the RMG governance teams. You can also access the people app via weblink on PC if required to assist with screen size. ### 1/5 — Typical RM Garbage *2023-11-22* This app is like every else about the company, absolute garbage. Everything this company does, is always the cheapest and most basic option. Just logging into the app is an absolute mission, no biometrics so you have to remember your password and then various letters or numbers from your memorable word, if you want to view anything sensitive. It’s supposed to save your login but never works for long. Whoever they paid to create this app was laughing all the way to the bank. Please use the 'Remember Me' option on the login screen to retain your login details. ### 1/5 — RM - PLEASE READ!!!! *2023-03-22* ZERO STARS!!! simply does not work - i’m registered, verified and logged in… when i try to view any options, for example, “view payslips”, it simply gets stuck in “Loading - Please Wait - Data is Loading” - it simply does not happen!!! DO NOT CHOOSE THE OPTION TO STOP RECEIVING PAPER PAY SLIPS!!!!!!!!!!! Yesterday, I received an email to tell me that it is “The People’s App” 2nd birthday - yet, Two Years on and they still can’t make an app that works!! It’s time Royal Mail started to listen to their employees… THIS DOES NOT WORK - PLEASE LISTEN - PLEASE FIX THIS OR DELETE IT COMPLETELY!!! The ability to book holiday is lacking but apart from that, not a bad app. WHEN IT WORKS. Some computer genius has updated the app today and added some more features but made it impossible to access the basics. Now, after today’s “update” I no longer have access to mybundle, as the app refuses to authenticate my details. Unbelievably incompetent Update: The app has now excelled itself. I’ve been logged out unexpectedly and Now I’m unable to log in again. The app just doesn’t recognise my login details. Unnecessary stress and aggravation and time Consuming to sort out… I stand by my earlier comments. The app is great and incredibly useful when it works. Therefore your comments do not reflect the people app. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2022-03-12* I can’t access any of the personal information..pay, holidays etc. It just keeps giving me an error message, and I have no idea how I can report to the app developers to get a solution, or even just to report it. Within the help section there is nothing on reporting app errors. So I appear to be stuck with an app that doesn’t work, and unable to access pay and holiday information, unless of course I put in a written request, to my offices staff resources, then wait for their written reply…tedious. **Developer response:** Please email people.app@royalmail.com with details of the issue and we will be happy to investigate and resolve for you. ### 1/5 — Error! *2021-02-16* Seriously, why would you even release this without making sure it actually works? Doesn’t recognise the national insurance number, so can’t access your pay slip, which is pretty much the point of the app. Spend a quid, get a quids worth, and that’s how much they spent developing this. There isn’t a zero star rating available, so one is the best you’re getting. About as useful as hairdryer in a shower. ### 2/5 — Good…..when it works *2023-11-22* App keeps crashing, and I’m trying to order more uniform. Try to select the reason button and it just closes the app. Have used it previously without issue, but now it’s useless. If you have an issue with the Uniform Store this is separate application to the people app which simply acts as a gateway so issues should be raised via the My App & HR help tile using the keyword search of 'uniform' ### 2/5 — Crashes to often *2023-04-03* App works well when it works but it crashes way too much! Endless bugs and very slow. Also the password system to access payslips is too outdated when we have access to face I.D or finger print authentication, no one needs a random 12 digit password which you have to write down somewhere. ### 2/5 — Touch menus *2022-03-01* Yes it has potential but like most things Royal Mail are attached to some things don’t work. For example touch menus just don’t redirect to the webpage or next step you are trying to access. It does all the fundamentals though. One suggestion I’d love to see is an email when a payslip is generated to save logging in to find out. ### 3/5 — Good when working *2022-04-20* I have used this app for a while now and most of the time it works ok and is very good. But when it doesn’t it is very bad. I cancelled payslips as it was easier all round to view online. So when it doesn’t work or crashes, no payslip etc. By all means download app but don’t cancel paper payslips ### 3/5 — Kenny *2021-10-15* App contents are great to be able to see your payslip & see your holidays ,would like to be able to apply for holidays on the app .
