### 2/5 — Parcel not delivered to set date

*2026-09-01, version 18.3.2*

My parcel was not delivered to the set date and time.

### 3/5 — Purchase History not working

*2026-09-01, version 18.3.2*

As title, when you go to purchase history it no longer loads, just says error. No signal at our PO and that’s where I take a screenshot of the code to send parcel.

### 2/5 — Could be a great app. When they get it right

*2026-09-01, version 18.3.2*

When tracking parcels it’s constantly reporting that it’s currently unable to confirm the status of a parcel and it looses the names you have assigned to a parcel. Delivered parcels get copied to the completed list but not removed from the Active list. Now my list is a mess and it takes too much work to work out which parcel is which and if it’s been delivered or not.

Is this can be sorted the app would be great.

### 3/5 — Annoying

*2026-08-29, version 18.3.2*

Can be a good app. Used it a few years now whilst it’s been good. The last few months I open the app I have to update something agree to something or constantly sign in every time. Just keep it bleeding simple.

### 2/5 — There’s a problem with password reset

*2026-08-27, version 18.3.2*

Password reset doesn’t work properly. I’ve had this problem on numerous occasions and have to resort to setting up a new account. A new account seems to work ok - until I get locked out for no apparent reason, having to do a password reset (which doesn’t work) and then set up a new account again - and so the cycle continues. I don’t think it’s being tested properly on iOS using autofill.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever - 0 star

*2026-08-27, version 18.3.2*

Should never have been privatised. The app doesn’t work and the features on their online website now don’t work because they’ve been migrated over to an app that’s useless. Most infuriating thing. Don’t try calling customer services, you’ll be passed through AI options until you might be put through to the call queue when they eventually hangup on you.

### 1/5 — Can’t even use it

*2026-08-26, version 18.3.2*

What’s the point of using the app if you can’t use it, the screen dims light grey and nothing works. I tried everything from powering off, airplane mode, force reset, updating my iPhone and nothing works. How am I suppose to set up the safe place if the app doesn’t even work, Sonion 😭🥀

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-08-26, version 18.3.2*

It always says there is a problem and doesn’t show any tracking details. Waste of time.

### 1/5 — Painful to use

*2026-08-26, version 18.3.2*

Missed a delivery, got a card. Tried to rebook, have to download app, I download app, and after a few tries it says I need to register as I ve reached my daily free limit???? I have no intention of registering and only downloaded the app as no other way to book a redelivery. Will go straight to Royal Mail and pick up.

### 3/5 — I don’t understand the updates

*2026-08-26, version 18.3.2*

When you think things are going in the right way they release an update which is makes the app un-user friendly. Removing the back button from proof of postage makes 0 sense!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-08-25, version 18.3.2*

All I want to do is track a parcel.

Some reason I’ve got a grey overlay on the app and can’t click anything. Great work!

### 2/5 — App doesn’t work

*2026-08-25, version 18.3.2*

This app used to be OK but now is pretty much unusable. Either doesn’t give options to change delivery or won’t save changes. And tracking info is really poor.

### 2/5 — Logging out issues

*2026-08-24, version 18.3.2*

The app constantly logs you out every time you open it which makes a simple task take alot more effort and time, its ridiculous

### 2/5 — frequent log outs

*2026-08-24, version 18.3.2*

the app works mostly as expected but seems to be very buggy and i need to log in again almost every day which is really annoying

### 1/5 — Unreliable

*2026-08-24, version 18.3.2*

The website nor the app shows updated location of the delivery person, which makes the tracking link completely pointless. Plus, the delivery service is also extremely unreliable. You wait for a delivery, refresh the tracking link to see the updates, and then they don’t bother sending a text or an email that the delivery has reached, does not ring a bell at the door, but leaves with a text updating that house was inaccessible. Uber Eats has much better delivery options and instruction options where you can add more information in case they don’t know where to call. Royal Mail needs immense level of improvement.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-08-24, version 18.3.2*

The most frustrating app. Trying to arrange a re delivery one goes round in circles. Massive WOT !

### 2/5 — Stopped working on latest IOS

*2026-08-24, version 18.3.2*

On the most recent use despite entering my email the system did not generate any email detailing the collection. Normally I am able to reprint a label / get financial receipt / vat breakdown for the item and confirmation the item was collected. Nothing appears in the app as history. Worked fine before latest update. If I can’t get a receipt then I will not be able to use the system moving forward. Please fix!

Before anyone asks…. Yes I’ve checked spam

Despite running the app on the latest iOS update you get unsupported browser message and are unable to go any further.
Totally unusable …

### 3/5 — Great when it works, not always the case

*2026-08-24, version 18.3.2*

I only use the app occasionally, half the time there’s a glitch or error meaning I can’t get proof of postage, a feature which never works for my local postbox, but does with every other one in their network which I’ve used, needs work but no real way of submitting bug reports to them

### 3/5 — Not good

*2026-08-23, version 18.3.2*

It keeps on crashing and is at much use as a chocolate teapot , you put in a tracking no , it works once , then it goes oops not working, somethings wrong all the time . Please sort it out . This has been happening for over a month every day

### 1/5 — Bad service

*2026-08-23, version 18.3.2*

⭐0/5

Extremely frustrating service. I live on the first floor of a 20-storey building, yet the postman regularly rings the buzzer and expects me to come downstairs to collect my parcel instead of actually delivering it.

Most of the time, by the time I get downstairs, the postman has already left — and so has my parcel. This is completely unacceptable. We have a designated postal/delivery area in the building, so if they are unwilling to come to my door, they could at the very least leave the parcel safely there rather than making me race downstairs before they disappear.

Amazon and other delivery companies regularly manage to bring parcels directly to my door without any problem, so I don’t understand why the Post Office/Royal Mail cannot provide the same basic level of service.

If a parcel is marked as being delivered to my address, I expect it to actually be delivered — not for me to chase the postman around the building to get it. This has happened repeatedly and really needs to be addressed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — This app is never working

*2026-09-01, version 18.3.2*

Developers what is going on this app never allows me to login myself, every time I’m trying there is a errors appearing telling me to try later. Nonsense

### 1/5 — No support from app developers

*2026-09-01, version 18.3.2*

App crashes on launch for months now. No help from Royal Mail or their app developers whatsoever despite my reaching out. Avoid!

### 1/5 — its a bug ridden mess

*2026-08-31, version 18.3.2*

Every delivery which appears in the tracking bar on Home page, shows 'unable to confirm status'. So you then have to tap each one in turn, at which point it shows the info. This applies to parcels which were already delivered a week ago.

if you have a parcel arriving today, it wont let you set a safeplace without also delaying the parcel for a later date.

Likewise If you have set a safe place on your account in the past, it wont display the parcel is going to be left there, so you end up having to set a safeplace for every single parcel just incase.

Come on Royal Mail, get it together, other couriers are eating you alive with their tech and youre pushing out this buggy dinosaur of an offering.

### 1/5 — Not tested for accessibility doesn't work with screen readers

*2026-08-30, version 18.3.2*

Not tested For accessibility Many buttons don't have text labels so they don't work with screen readers e.g. VoiceOver on iPhone This includes the find an address button for example Will now delete the app as it is therefore of no use

### 1/5 — App

*2026-08-29, version 18.3.2*

it's rubbish, i use face id , didn't allow me through, the app must be working much better or the website is better then having it

### 1/5 — Poorly done

*2026-08-28, version 18.3.2*

Very poorly done app. It doesn’t show parcel was delivered even if it’s marked as delivered. Then deliveries have multiple tracking numbers and it’s hard to know which one is which.

### 1/5 — Login

*2026-08-28, version 18.3.2*

I have not been able to login to this app for months now. I have to use it as a guest. Numerous forgotten password links and reinstalls have not helped.
UPDATE: Still won’t allow me to log in.
Waste of time!

### 1/5 — Shocking 😖 and frustrating

*2026-08-28, version 18.3.2*

This app crashes frequently. After purchasing online I’m often unable to use the qr codes in the parcel shop because they do not show up in my purchases, I don’t receive acknowledgement of my purchases via email either. For a company of this size and reputation to have such a glitchy and inconsistent system is appalling at the price they charge too, customers deserve more. Hopefully dpd will also start to ship smaller parcels too.

### 1/5 — Just truly aweful

*2026-08-28, version 18.3.2*

How does this outfit remain in Business? So many times I’ve received ‘something for you’ card or a similar, and every flaming time I try and use the website or phone numbers etc., I hit a brickwall. Either the password doesn’t work and they say they’re going to send a new password using email but it never arrives or you ring the phone number they supply on the card but there are no options that work and you end up having to hang up and forget that route. Appalling - absolute rubbish. I think it’s a disgrace that they’ve got the word “Royal” in their name; there’s nothing royal about this abysmal ‘service’. I’m now left with not knowing where my parcel is and no means to call anyone to find out. I have vowed to avoid using Royal Mail if at all possible I will always opt for a different provider. And I recommend you do the same!

### 1/5 — So basic and Features not consistently functioning

*2026-08-27, version 18.3.2*

How hard is it to create an app that work for delivering and redirecting packages? Features to redirect give errors. No ability to message to delivery person. I’ve had multiple attempts of delivery but the deliverer is going to the wrong address. So they listed the reason as property not accessible. I’ve sat at home for the best part of a week. Options to have the items redirected to a collection point not available initially. Now only allowed one item to be redirected. The other is going to be attempted again tomorrow allegedly. Utter rubbish

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — By far the best delivery service

*2026-08-19, version 18.3.2*

The Royal Mail is by far the best delivery service that I’ve used. They are very efficient. From experience , parcel always arrive on time. Unlike Amazon delivery and others, the Royal Mail has never left my parcels in unsafe places when I’ve not been available to collect them , and was pleasantly surprised when recently they made a second attempt to deliver a parcel when I was not able to receive it on the original expected delivery date.

### 5/5 — Generally very good

*2026-08-07, version 18.3.2*

All round baring the odd little issue, a useful and functional app.

### 5/5 — It works!

*2026-08-05, version 18.2.6*

This version of the Royal Mail actually works on my iPhone and iPad - it saves my parcel details, i can name my parcels, and I can delete them when they’re delivered. Yahoo!

### 5/5 — can’t even open the app

*2026-08-03, version 18.2.6*

just shyte

### 5/5 — Duplicate trackings

*2026-07-28, version 18.2.6*

The system often treats the linear barcode scan and the 2D QR/data-matrix scan on the shipping label as two separate tracking streams in the App

### 5/5 — DEVELOPERS - READ FEEDBACK - app crashes - avoid.

*2026-07-18, version 18.2.6*

DELETED - latest version DOES NOT OPEN - do not waste time hoping it will work...DEVELOPERS please read the customer feedback on the latest, catastrophic app update: it is unusable & unfit for purpose, the app crashes on opening (red flashing screen then shutdown). Have deleted & reinstalled this app multiple times. The very least you could do as tech professionals is acknowledge these issues. ‘zero help’ from Royal Mail app team. I gave you 5 stars, because maybe you only read the praise …

### 5/5 — Excellent delivery

*2026-07-15, version 18.1.2*

The postman always does a fantastic job. Tablets delivered today will help me to not have leg cramps during the night due to taking Tamoxifen. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Delivery

*2026-07-15, version 18.1.2*

Good service

### 5/5 — Royal Mail delivery

*2026-07-01, version 18.1.2*

Wonderful service excellent staff

### 5/5 — Love it

*2026-07-01, version 18.1.2*

I love this app. You can leave safe places so if you’re not going to be in is that a problem? They just leave it where you tell them it’s secure and only Royal Mail knows about it.
