The advertisements have gotten longer and sometimes never quit so you have to shut down your phone and hope you can get back to the game. There is no easy way to file a complaint or reach help, so I am resorting to filing this evaluation. Every battle, every build, every action is made better with gems that cost you money. This game might be a fun game but unless you spend gems then you are constantly waiting for something to finish building or waiting for some other resource that the game controls. So spend $ or wait.. ### 3/5 — Downgrade from Royal Revolt 1 *2026-03-23, version 11.12* If you’re looking for an experience like the original royal revolt, your out of luck. They took some of the core elements that made the original great, then wrapped it up in a pay to win clash of clans like experience. The game is alright but you have to wait days for upgrades to take place (which of course can be sped up with the use of gems), and you have to use food in order to do attacks. Why do game studios take great projects then ruin it by trying to squeeze money out of the players… ### 3/5 — The trophy system is broken *2026-02-19* I'm at around 1600 trophies and can't progress because the most I can win per battle is 5-7 trophies, and if I lose a single attack it's between -25 and-65 trophies. I just spent 2 days crawling from 1650 to 1750 trophies, then lost two attacks and am down to 1630 trophies. Been so close to rage-quit so many times. I'd rate it 5 stars if it weren't for well...check the title. every now and then the game will get stuck with a permanent connection error (usually a result of a single attempt to login with a weak connection) which cant be undone by getting a good connection and restarting your device so your only solution is to re-install. Fair enough. After all I shouldn't lose my save after MANUALLY clicking the icloud save enabled button right?? (why would that not be automatic? very incompetent decision in my opinion and the only game at least on mobile I've seen ever do that). Well I was wrong, even while making sure that option was checked my progress was not saved upon starting the app. VERY frustrating as someone who was supported the game with actual currency!! Despite the frustration I reached out to the support team and with very little shock, received no response for days. Was about to give up but saw this game has an official discord and I reached out to I guess some sort of person with a direct contact to their support team? WHY DID I HAVE TO DO THIS FOR SOMEONE TO LOOK AT A TICKET? your support team is clearly not doing their job if they need to be reminded of it... Anyways a little over a week later they finally reach out and were able to retrieve my account. Yay account recovered in only 10 ish days. noticed on the discord the average wait time for tickets was 30-40 days, turns out I actually was lucky. Regardless that should've been the end of this ordeal right? right?? Connection error happened again. However I had prepped for this occasion by saving a code that is unique to each account as yet another way to retrieve your data as opposed to using their USELESS "icloud save" feature. (Didn't see the need to copy it the first time as I figured their own save feature works). Anyways I of course copied it as I was NOT interested in dealing with their unresponsive support team again...code didn't even fit. I am not kidding you this was yet another save feature that DOES NOT WORK!!!! I'm not waiting possibly 30+ days to get my account back again just for this bull **** to happen later down the line. I'm tired. I'm frustrated. I'm done. Problem: Every few days/weeks the game shows "Could not establish connection" or "Cannot connect to server" error. My internet connection is working perfectly fine (other apps, browsing, YouTube, etc. all work without any issue). The only way to fix it is to completely delete the game and reinstall it. After reinstalling it works fine again for some time, then the same error returns. It avoids the nasty, egotistical drama some other games offer by having no real-time confrontation. You can play solo or join cycling team battles and events with great rewards. And the devs are great! They were incredibly helpful when a bad internet connection corrupted my game and they managed to fix it for me - thank you. After all this time, I’m still discovering new tactics and strategies — that’s how deep and engaging this game really is.
