### 2/5 — Cells not working in 2026

*2026-06-04*

I just bought this to use with AUM and Cells doesn’t work. It won’t record on any cell other than the first one. Particles is working it seems.. I haven’t had the opportunity to try any of the other features in the suite. Will update once I can..

### 4/5 — Great suite

*2024-03-29*

Great and useful for live playing. Would be even better if there was a faster LFO rate option!

### 2/5 — The app needs some work on UX.

*2023-11-19*

Though this app has some nice features, it also has some usability drawbacks. Why would you put one way loopable menus almost everywhere (like for example arpeggio direction), this is so frustrating, why not to use drop down menus, why there is no manual input for numeric values like channel numbers in LFO etc., so it requires to use those tiny arrows, and if I need channels near 127, that’s so annoying. I really hope you will revisit user experience in your app.

### 2/5 — Décidément pas pour tout le monde.

*2022-07-31*

### 3/5 — Could be much more flexible

*2021-12-10*

This seems quite powerful at first, but soon as you start using it for anything serious, the deficiencies become very obvious.

Windows don't resize properly in AUV3 windows, a lot of UI elements become obscured and it's very hard to understand how to stretch the plugin window to make them visible again.

Very few controls can be changes via MIDI or AU host parameters, and some UI elements are quite inscrutable, specifically:

* In Rozetta Rhythm none of the sequence controls for any channel such as number of beats, shift etc can be controlled via MIDI or AU parameters.

* In Cells you can't see notes stored in a given cell, it's essentially read-only.

* Again, in Cells maximum note length is of very small value, unsuitable for pads. It's also not controllable via MIDI or AU params

### 4/5 — Took A While To Get Into but…

*2021-07-04*

.. but now I love it/them.

### 5/5 — Worth it for Scaler alone

*2021-04-30*

I have simple needs...be able to transpose or lock in scales with the push of a (midi controller) button. I tried Scaler, which was perfect except for a bug that cut off notes instead of quantizing them.

So I looked for alternatives...ScaleBud, MF Scales, Xequence... NONE of these could do the simple task that Rozeta Scaler could.

So in my despair I contacted the Scaler developer about the bug I was running into. Boom the app was updated and the audio glitch was fixed the next day...unbelievable.

This suite is SO useful and easy to use, it’s crazy how none of the alternatives even come close.

### 5/5 — Incredible product

*2021-04-16, version 1.3.4*

Thanks for great work. I guess Rozeta is the most powerful tool which I tested. 10 tools, great tools. I think it is a reasonable suggestion when you have MIDIs (arpeggio, rhythmic pattern, 2 generators of melody), LFO, Bassline sequencer and so on.
I recommend. You will be taking enjoyment in Rozeta.
Additionally(generators of melody), who doesn’t deepen into music theory, cool. Nevertheless, you keep in mind that process isn’t controlled.

### 5/5 — Great collection of sequencers

*2021-01-09, version 1.3.4*

This is a Great collection of sequencers .
Good user interface experience with these.
All my Bram Bos apps are great.

### 4/5 — Really great set of MIDI sequencers and tools, almost perfect

*2020-12-27*

Rozeta is a diverse set of MIDI sequencers and tools which are really easy to understand right away. I’ve found them all to be very stable, with low CPU usage and thoughtful design.

Two wish list items if there’s ever a v2, which would make the implementation perfect:

1. Wider array of clock divisions for the sequencers (two bars just isn’t enough as an upper limit for slow sequences).

2. A way to reset the LFOs, either via a MIDI note or by indicating a phase position relative to the MIDI clock. I don’t really understand why it can sync to tempo but doesn’t allow you to specify phase.

Even without these two features, it’s a no brainer to buy it at this price. Truly a great value. Buy it and you won’t regret it.

### 2/5 — Cool but no way of activating randomness via midi

*2020-11-13*

I don’t understand why the most important feature is not included in midi mappings.

### 3/5 — no real live record feature

*2020-10-05, version 1.3.4*

cant record live into this app

### 3/5 — Un petit peu déçu

*2020-09-23*

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2020-08-31*

Without exaggeration, much of the love I have for creating music on my iPad stems from these amazing apps. From the moment I launched this suite in AUM, I was using it to create sounds and tracks. They are easy to use once you get the swing, and they have depth.

Bram Bos is a genius.

Thank you for making these apps!

### 3/5 — Some good tools, mediocre arpeggiator

*2020-08-23*

The arpeggiator has no control for gate time and it seems to be cutting notes short, making it difficult to run 1 instance into a second for more complicated arpeggios. But the UIs are clean and easy to understand.

### 5/5 — Must have

*2020-07-16*

Turns AUM into a MIDI powerhouse. Deceptively simple and yet super creative and powerful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not happy want refund

*2020-08-21*

This was promoted as auv3 compatible yet i can't use with nano studio 2????

**Developer response:** It definitely works with Nanostudio 2. You can find them under the MIDI AU effects (not the audio effects).

### 1/5 — Rozzeta suite

*2020-05-11*

**Developer response:** Rozeta is a collection of MIDI Audio Unit plugins. Please contact me and tell me which AU plugin host app you’re using so I can explain how to open them.

### 1/5 — Psh

*2020-02-16, version 1.3.2*

I can’t even open this thing. Waste.

### 1/5 — No funciona correctamente, una pena

*2019-09-16*

**Developer response:** Rozeta works perfectly in every plugin host with support for AUv3 MIDI, such as AUM, Cubasis, Nanostudio 2, etc. Contact me via email and I can help you figure out why it’s not working for you.

### 1/5 — Arnaque !!!

*2019-05-29*

Déplorable :
Ne fonctionne pas.
Installe des choses, mais pourquoi ? Mystère.
Pourtant je ne débute pas.

+Impossible de se faire rembourser.

Honteux.

**Developer response:** As explained in the App Store description, Rozeta is a collection of MIDI plugins. You have to load them in a plugin host, such as Cubasis, AUM, Audiobus3, Nanostudio 2, ApeMatrix, Auria Pro, etc. They don’t do anything as standalone.

### 1/5 — ???

*2019-04-13*

Not sure what’s going on here but I got this app and it will not open in Cubasis 2 or BeatMaker 3 and I’m running iOS 12.2

**Developer response:** Hi in Cubasis you can find the Rozeta plugins under “MIDI filters”. In BM3 they should be in the list of AU plugins, unless they’ve changed their AU MIDI implementation. Hope this helps.

### 1/5 — Ne fonctionne pas

*2019-01-03*

Déçu Rozeta ne fonctionne pas

### 1/5 — Cannot use on beatmaker e

*2018-10-29*

Cannot find any proper help on how to set it up?
Found one video from the developer but the video is so fast ...cannot follow

So far waisted my money ! Sorry
I have spent enough time on this app’ I honestly cannot use in beatmaker 3, sometimes it plays random notes and then it stops ! I have followed some qui found on your web site but it didn’t work .... why? I have use beatmaker 3 with lots of other apps it works fine but not with this app ?,, shame

**Developer response:** Beatmaker 3 has recently been updated (and changed its implementation of AU MIDI). Obviously this is out of my control, but it may explain why you had difficulties getting it to work in BM3? Perhaps Intua can help with their new AU MIDI method?

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Please remove the “old” plugins

*2026-05-31*

I think most hosts support midi fx now so can you remove these “old” plugins?

### 5/5 — Richtig cool! 😊

*2024-08-26*

Richtig coole, vielseitige Sequencer Suite, die unseren eigenen Drum Sequencer OCTACHRON für mich optimal ergänzt ✌️🎶😊

### 5/5 — Ziemlich gut

*2024-03-16*

Vieles sehr gut - einiges sollte man verbessern.

### 5/5 — Hi, I Need the ability to export a midi pattern from Bassline to the Required External Folder

*2023-10-28*

Hi, I Need the ability to export a midi pattern from Bassline to the Required External Folder, And the ability to switch between Saved Patterns Thanks!

### 5/5 — The best used by the best

*2023-08-15, version 1.3.16*

Bram’s apps are no secret some of the best around and at an affordable cost. This is a great value.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2023-07-30, version 1.3.16*

I like Rozeta a lot because is simple and fast. Only problem is that I can’t remove the “old” tag on it. Hiw it works?

### 5/5 — Essential MIDI tools

*2023-05-30, version 1.3.16*

A great pack of super useful MIDI sequencing tools. Easy to learn and to use.

### 5/5 — Great tools, but …

*2023-03-15*

the scaler AUv3 transposes incoming notes, which is fine. But it leaves polyphonic Aftertouch data unaffected, which makes it useless for me.
If you address this issue, you’ll get another 5 stars ;-)

### 5/5 — Indispensable for iOS music making!

*2022-09-12, version 1.3.13*

Still great! So just get it! Please? Ha!

### 5/5 — Great set of utilities, sequencers

*2021-05-17, version 1.3.9*

This is a good value for money package. It has all sequencers and utils you need for a nice jamming setup.

There is no AUM session without at least 2 or 3 plugins from this collection.

The instruments from this dev are also great sound and value.
