I just couldn’t stomach the endlessly repeating string of badly translated platitudes. “Oh, you are the greatest. No you are the best! Here have the first donut, I insist! Well you are so kind. Really the most wonderful dwarf there is. And as far as elves go—blah blah blah blah.” On and on and on. It got the point were I dreaded the cut scenes, especially toward the end. Otherwise, the abilities and classes were thoughtful and interesting. The items were uninspired and monotonous. The combat was intuitive and sleek. Everything else, from combat dynamics to growth chart to the plot, is a step backwards from the great game of Dragon Lapis. Story is just plain stupid - a dwarf, an elf, and two humans explore the power of friendship! Even that sounds more exciting than it is. I regret spending money on this. Buy Dragon Lapis instead.
