RPRA HazTrack enables generators, carriers, and receivers to create, update, and complete manifests for the movement of hazardous and liquid industrial wastes in compliance with Ontario’s manifesting requirements under Ontario Regulation 347. Manage and track manifests for Ontario’s hazardous waste program easily and effectively, and seamlessly integrate your manifest content with the Hazardous Waste Program Registry. All activities required for Ontario’s manifesting process, including signatures, refusals and corrections, can be accomplished through the app. Download the RPRA HazTrack app to: 1. Create manifests a. Generators, carriers and receivers are guided through easy and simple steps needed to successfully create a manifest b. Add registered generator, waste stream, carrier and receiver information from the Registry c. Offers ‘Copy Manifest’ functionality to easily create a new manifest from an existing manifest's details, which saves time and effort. d. Add multiple carriers using a feature to upload an image of the Multiple Carrier Form. 2. Sign manifests a. Easily sign a manifest before it ships, on completion, and approve corrections b. Generators have the option to sign the manifest on the carrier's mobile device without logging in, saving time and avoiding adding multiple users to the system c. Generators and carriers can sign off on corrections to waste information made by the receiver. 3. Track manifests a. Easily understood and clearly displayed status allows users to view the shipment’s progress throughout the manifesting process b. All activities are logged with a time stamp on the manifest overview page. 4. Accept or refuse waste a. Receivers can make decisions for each waste stream before completing the manifest, including accepting, refusing, partially refusing, and making corrections 5. One minute it shows manifest, the next minute blank. Create a manifest in the app, like magic it disappears. You guys have got to do better this is no way for a government run program to operate. ### 1/5 — Usability and tracking failure *2024-07-11, version 1.3.0* RPRA sent an email saying there’s a feedback survey but nothing shows up. Early in the information webinars they mentioned there were supposed to be notifications- haven’t received a single one when there has been a change, which is basically every manifest. No easy way to track manifest closures, just going in one by one, which is slow. Filters reset each time so it’s extremely tedious. No vetting for signing manifests, which goes against what this was set up for related to TDG. Even though users set up in system, drivers can ask anyone to sign. I can’t for the life of me think of a possible reason for this. I’m sick of making up new passwords for it. No one cares about the oily sludge I’m hauling. The best part of this app is clicking 2 times for every drop down menu. I hate simply clicking on the thing I want to interact with just one time. So I’m really happy they let me click it 2 times, every day, multiple times a day, for the next decade or 2. This will account for thousands of unnecessary clicks. Thank you, I was in dire need of a way to waste more time. There’s nothing wrong with pen and paper. This is just easier to track and sell your info. Same as the forced E logs.
