So I’m still figuring out the app. I rated it one star because the desktop version(is what I mostly use at work), is absolutely horrible. Where to start? When the people that were designing the web version, were they sitting 2 inches from they’re screen? Desktop view is extremely zoomed in. The desktop version is hard to look at. Labor time is no longer added up when inputed, and when adding lines from the excessively long option list. It always resets to the top when done adding one line. The color scheme of the desktop version is horrid. I honestly loved the older version, please correct. I write this review in the hopes of the design team sees it. Sometimes if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Tried to express my input to your support team, but has fallen on deaf ears. Only got replies to the extent of contacting me and training me how to use the “new version” of rapid. I don’t need training, the site is simplistic. But your design team has gone the extent to complicate it. If you really care about the product you distribute to dealers, you would consider my critique. Not sincerely , An unsatisfied user ### 1/5 — Way over thought *2020-11-03, version 4.0.91* Approving an RO now takes an hour instead of a couple of seconds. Too many extra pages and options. Rapid Recon was a lot better before they added all of the extras ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Super annoying message on every startup *2026-04-16, version 4.43.19* Every single time I login on the app, it gives me not one, but TWO messages about my notifications being disabled. Please give me an option to disable that warning. I know they are disabled, and I plan to keep it that you. You don’t need to force me to dismiss two messages about it every dang time I open the app. ### 1/5 — Mobile App *2025-05-07, version 4.40.26* The mobile app is horrible. This needs a whole new revamp and updates to make the process easier to use. I shouldn’t have to back out of a page and go back into it to see updates. There should be a refresh feature similar to social media apps. Also there are so many bug issues with uploading photos. Saying there are already photos attached to the car when it’s not. ### 1/5 — MOST RECENT UPDATE MALFUNCTION *2024-11-22, version 4.39.013* When I downloaded the most recent update, now it will load up just a blank white screen, no login, no logo, no nothin. PLEASE FIX AS WE USE RAPID RECON DAILY!! ❤️ ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2024-11-20, version 4.39.013* This app hasn’t worked in a week now. All I get is a white screen. I do not want nor need notifications popping up, i simply like to log in like before and look for work orders. I do not need the app to ask me every single time i log in to go to my phone settings. It was not an issue before ### 1/5 — The ratings tell all, stay away *2023-05-02, version 4.12.104* We use this app at my shop to log in hours, so basically my pay depends on this app, Rapid Recon needs severe maintenance, Im missing hours from jobs completed so Im not getting paid, so I have to go back to old reliable and trustworthy paper, two things need to happen QUICK either Rapid Recon start paying me my lost hours OR get their crap together and fix the “bugs” or problems that their app have caused, playing with my money is like playing with my emotions and IM NOT HAVING IT!! ### 1/5 — Why though? *2020-11-18, version 4.0.91* New layout is unnecessary and the app crashes sometimes trying to upload pictures. Everything is easy to navigate through would recommend to others! ### 4/5 — Not working *2024-12-13, version 4.39.013* Can't log on mobile app, it says too many requests. It was the first time I've tried logging on today. ### 3/5 — Works most the time *2025-05-02, version 4.40.022* What has stopped working for me is the ability to search by make or model. Search only works with the stock number. Used to work, but idk an update or something introduced a new bug. ### 3/5 — Latest patch/update issue *2023-10-26, version 4.16.088* The latest patch or update is causing error messages to pop up when you attempt to open a vehicle or use of the back button. The problem doesnt occur to everyone that updated, hit and miss. Reinstalling, relogging, or restarting of device doesnt not fix the issue. ### 3/5 — Less functional than previous version *2020-11-03, version 4.0.91* This update adds unnecessary sub-pages, scrolling and clicking. It used to be very easy to locate and change a vehicle’s step, as well as see its history all on 1 page. Now it is a chore of scrolling and cycling through menus. Classic example of trying to fix something that wasn’t broken. ### 2/5 — Photo upload is Buggy *2024-12-20, version 4.39.019* Before the recent update, uploading pictures was good. But now it won’t display anything. Even with a good connection nothing will stick.
