## What is rrawi?

rrawi is built for travelers who skip the group tour — and want something better than a generic audio guide instead.

A WALKING TOUR, MADE JUST FOR YOU
Every route is generated around your interests, your pace, and your schedule — not a fixed script followed by fifty other people.

YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE GUIDE
Straining to follow a guide's accent, or exploring with no story at all? rrawi narrates every stop in your own language, so you actually understand the place you're standing in.

CONTENT BUILT AROUND YOUR INTERESTS
Generic audio guides read like a textbook — names and years, no story. rrawi builds each tour around what you're actually curious about: history, food, art, architecture, hidden corners.

NO MORE CHASING A TOUR GROUP'S SCHEDULE
Group tours mean someone else's meeting point, someone else's pace, someone else's timetable. rrawi goes whenever you're ready — start right from your hotel, and we'll sequence the whole route so you're never backtracking.

RRAWI REMEMBERS WHAT YOU CARE ABOUT
Map mode shows you every stop worth seeing in a city, based on what you're into — and rrawi keeps track of where you've already been, so it never sends you somewhere you've already explored.

NOW IN ROME & TAIPEI — MORE CITIES ON THE WAY
rrawi is live in Rome and Taipei today, with more cities coming soon.

rrawi is for independent travelers who'd rather explore with real context, on their own time, than follow a flag through a crowd.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-10-24

• Claim free tours through partner hostels: they appear in Purchased tours with the hostel's name and an end date
• New "Gift from {hostel}" and "Owned" tags on tour cards, with the hostel's logo
• Tour pages show your access end date, with the download button right beside it
• Downloaded partner tours stop playing when access ends, and say why
• Tours you own or have claimed now appear first in the list

### 1.1.4 — 2026-10-13

• Download purchased tours for offline use: audio guide, text and the route map. Use Wi-Fi or mobile data, and tours you buy download automatically on Wi-Fi
• New "Downloaded content" page in Account to see progress and free up space
• Downloaded tours appear on Home even with no signal, marked Offline
• Tour pages open faster and the player no longer waits on the network
• Longer place names now wrap to two lines on the Discover map

### 1.1.3 — 2026-10-05

1. Rate your tour now
2. A few ui improvement

### 1.1.1 — 2026-09-21

A new friend showed up on your map — a little wanderer strolling across your Nearby photo. Tap him and see where he takes you.

Also: fixed Android sign-in trouble, Travel Pass now loads properly, purchases confirm more reliably, and tour pages are easier to read.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-18

New: City Pass and Travel Pass. Unlock a city forever, or go all-in with a Travel Pass for full access everywhere plus monthly tour credits — every tour stays free to preview either way.

New: rrawi now speaks Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, alongside English and Traditional Chinese — so more independent travelers can finally get a guide in their own language.

Plus smaller fixes and polish throughout.
