Firstly, the lack of notifications to the phone despite having checked and enabled them both within the app and on the device itself is incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the app frequently glitches, necessitating constant restarts just to maintain basic functionality. The messaging system within the app is abysmal, with important messages getting lost in the cluttered and confusing layout. Overall, the app's persistent notification failures, frequent glitches, and subpar messaging system contribute to an overwhelmingly negative user experience, making it wholly inadequate for effective scheduling and work management. ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of work!! *2023-06-26, version 1.4.5* It needs a lot of work. Rudimentary, not easy for people under 25 to understand. I hope that one day, my employer will review the efficiency of this app and consider getting different tech that will be more user friendly. ### 1/5 — New update is horrible *2021-06-28, version 1.4.3* My job requires us to switch back and forth between profiles to see our schedules at different locations throughout the restaurant, which used to be easy (annoying, but easy) and now that option is gone and you have to log out and try to remember the ridiculous business code to go in and see your schedule. Went from semi-user friendly to just garbage now. Please change it back. ### 1/5 — App Bug *2020-01-21, version 1.3.8* There seems to be some problem with the app. At least once a month I have to delete it and reinstall it because my schedule won’t show. I’ll get a notification that my schedule is posted but nothing shows when I open the app. I thought I was doing something wrong as first but many of my coworkers have to do the same. It’s really annoying. I use this app for my part-time job. I’m only there twice a week. If I worked enough to view the posted paper schedule, I would delete this app altogether and not be bothered with it! ### 1/5 — ??? *2019-10-12, version 1.3.8* Didn’t work with my Iphone 6s and now it doesn’t work with my Iphone 11... ### 1/5 — Redesign your apps UI (User Interface) *2019-05-20* You really need to update and Refresh UI of all your apps. They all look very very old. It isnt Employee friendly. ### 1/5 — This system is NOT user friendly nor is this app *2018-02-09, version 1.2.8* This whole system is not user friendly and i would consider myself very tech savvy. Furthermore, this app is not user friendly. You have to have a computer to do most things through this system which many restaurant employees don’t have. When i called customer service to walk me through basic things like swapping shifts (things no one should have to call customer service to be walked through) the woman Mary who answered couldn’t helped me and transferred me to someone named Katrina who was a raging b——- She spoke over me, didn’t listen, and on my second call in hung up on me at the end of the call!!! And yes, it took two calls in to be walked though something that should be easy to do because it’s a common thing done in restaurants. If you are thinking about this system for your business RUN!!! Don’t do it!! This system has been so stressful on our entire restaurant team. We used hot schedules at another restaurant i worked at and they are very user friendly. I can no longer see my shifts for the week or my coworkers for the day . It’s super glitchy and picking up shifts is impossible! 👎👎👎 go back to the old version. All my coworkers hate it too . I very much enjoyed how this app used to look and it was easy to navigate. Now, it is 10X harder to navigate and I can’t even use it because it requires IOS 17 which I don’t have. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 ### 1/5 — Zero stars *2025-12-17, version 1.4.6* I have been forced to use this app for the last 3 1/2 years and it has never gotten better. So, now they do an update and we have to delete the app and reinstall the app and good luck if you don’t know your password because they don’t give you an option to reset your password and then when you call and you’re on hold for 20 minutes they pick up and they hang up on you. How do you not have functionality to allow you to sync your schedule to your phone calendar? we live in a time where people have multiple jobs and availability changes week to week. Not to mention keeping track of work schedules on personal calendars…it’s 2025. We have had no issues installing it, regardless of phone type.
