QUI EST TRAVAILLEUR INDEPENDANT ? Le RSTI s’adresse à tous les travailleurs indépendants vivant en Côte d’Ivoire, Ivoiriens ou étrangers. Ce nouveau régime protège ceux qui travaillent à leur propre compte comme les agriculteurs, artisans, commerçants, transporteurs, sportifs, artistes, consultants, miniers, entrepreneurs non-salarié, religieux ou Ivoiriens travaillant à l’étranger. QUELS SONT LES AVANTAGES DU RSTI ? En cas de maladie ou d’accident entraînant une période d’incapacité, le travailleur indépendant reçoit de ses revenus déclarés à la CNPS. En cas de maternité, la bénéficiaire reçoit de son revenu déclaré pendant 98 jours. A la retraite, le travailleur indépendant bénéficie dès 60 ans d’une pension de retraite qui lui est versée à vie .En cas de décès, cette pension est reversée sous conditions à ses ayants droits.
