Also it shows I have read 336% of Corinthians when I have not reached that part of the bible. This is true for other books as well including John and revelations. These show that I have read over 1000% of the chapters. I wouldn’t give it such a low rating, however, there is no one to contact about these issues. This one has very annoying ads, games, junk that pops up the entire time I am studying. Example Matt 6:6."But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing," this is actually verse 3. Matt 6:9."But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you." Like surely this is just a cover. All the features listed either are not present at all or just come up blank, aside from the verse-by-verse Bible reading. You can’t even read a whole chapter in paragraph format. And the app itself (not the scriptures) is clearly badly translated to English. The app also has ads that distract you when reading. And the ads are not religious ads even. Further more the app demands you pay to get Sam ad free version. It is user-friendly, easy to navigate, with Bible quiz, no In-Apps, and I can use it like an audiobook. ### 4/5 — Modern translation - chapters are off *2019-08-18* The translation is in very plain English which makes it very easy to understand. Some liberties have been taken in translation to make it easy to understand but be careful taking some translations as literal. Only big complaint it that in the New Testament the chapters are off and not just within a particular book but even between books. Peter 1 for example starts at James 5.7. This is pretty consistent through the entire publication. I reported it to the publisher and no response or correction. Makes me wonder if their primary interest isn’t just the non stop pop up adds at the bottom of the page. Other than that, I would have given this more ⭐️so would add 1 more thing. When you are referred to a different chapter, you have to go all the way back to Genesis to locate a new Biok. Just downloaded the app and wanted to voice some concerns. When writing notes for a section I can’t see the words! I have to exit the notes and go back in to see them. Also, when I go to my saved notes, I should be able to see the note I put next to the passage right there! I shouldn’t have to click on the passage, hit read full chapter and then go to my notes.
