## What is RSVP Speed Reader?

Most of reading is not reading. It is your eyes jumping from word to word, drifting backwards, and hunting for the start of the next line. Pera takes all of that away: one word at a time, in one fixed spot on the screen.

WHY IT WORKS

Your eyes do not glide along a line and every jump is time not spent reading. RSVP or Rapid Serial Visual Presentation removes the jumps by bringing the words to you instead. Each one is anchored on its optimal recognition point, the pivot letter your eye naturally lands on, so it registers the moment it appears. Making your reading optimized for comprehension and focus.

PACING THAT FOLLOWS THE SENTENCE

Pera stretches the hold on long words, on multi-syllable words, and on anything followed by a comma, a full stop or a paragraph break, so the rhythm tracks the writing.
