Now won’t connect to the app. Have uninstalled and reinstalled and tried reconnecting but just will not work. So now have to use it manually which defeats the object of the whole idea. Please sort out you app so it actually works. ### 2/5 — App not programs not very user friendly *2021-01-11* So I had a new boiler installed today and the company supplied me with this thermostat that I can control using my phone, great I thought.... until I started using it! I can only apparently have 6 programmes so when it gets cold at night I’ll have to wake up and turn on manually. It’s difficult to understand how to set the start and stop times and days too! Hope there’ll be an update soon.... ### 1/5 — RT310I не активна кнопка «далее» после почты и пароля *2019-02-19* Что делать? ### 1/5 — Very bad app or very bad system from Salus *2019-02-12* I got mine fitted with a new boiler, the first device worked for 2 dats only .. i contacted the plumber and the company they said they had issues with faulty Salus RT310i so they fitted me a new one .. since then it has been temperamental one day it works fine using this app and other days it just won’t work its driving me mad very unhappy with Salus it hasn’t worked now for the last 3 weeks. ### 1/5 — Terrible! *2019-01-02* New boiler fitted in first home and this app is for the thermostat chosen. Concept is good but this app is awful; doesn’t remember commands, I frequently turn the heating off only to find when I reload the app, it’s back on again. The schedule option is doing the same; resets the minute I close the app down completely despite hitting “save”. В доме проводной интернет, но в положение не войти, висит, не соединяет. На терморегуляторе пропал значок соединения с интернетом, хотя на передатчике который подключен к роутеру горит зеленый светодиод о наличии подключения к инету. БЕДА…… ### 1/5 — Устройство вне сети выдает приложение при наличии проводного интернета в доме *2026-01-02* Ранее пробоем с подключением не было, приложение работало. Сейчас уже месяц приложение после попытки войти, висит, потом выдает устройство и пищит не в сети, хотя в доме проводной интернет. Нет возможности подключиться ни как ни другого устройства например на Андройд, ни с випин, Что делать ??? ### 1/5 — Heating Turns Off *2023-01-02* I’ve always had issues with the Bluetooth connectivity failing on the Salus equipment despite the thermostat and recorder being within 3 metres of each other. The app has also always been buggy but this winter it seems to constantly be turning itself to “OFF” and is completely hit or miss if it will come back on. I’m constantly in the boiler cupboard turning the heating on manually. If you can I’d recommend you avoid fitting any equipment that needs this app. ### 1/5 — Absolutely awful app! *2022-12-03* Truly awful app. If it’s not too late and you haven’t already installed a salus stat, choose a different make! Unfortunately I only learned of it after installers had already installed. - The app logs itself out every time you close it. - When connected, massive lag in communication with the boiler (if it connects at at all) - Support were woeful, and send canned responses instead of helping to find a solution. ### 1/5 — Can’t even register *2021-11-07* I’d like to be able to review the app properly having used it. But seeing as I can’t even create an account (I get an Invalid Credentials error) that doesn’t seem likely. From reading other reviews I can’t say I’m surprised. I didn’t choose this thermostat, my landlord’s boiler maintenance guy did. I wish I’d have been asked because I probably would have asked for anything but this evident piece of garbage. If you can’t make a decent smart home technology product, why bother? ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-10-12* Very simple this app doesn’t work. It crashes all the time, heating doesn’t come in when input into the app, sometimes it doesn’t even work manually either. Terrible system which hasn’t been fixed in the few years I’ve had it. Would not recommend at all and regret going with this system now. Would give no stars if I could ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2020-02-07* This app/ thermostat is appalling. Does what I ask it to do about 40% of the time... the rest of the time it makes it own mind up. Randomly resets, ignores scheduling, tells me the heating is on when it isn’t and, on the odd occasion when it does work it takes forever... leaving me guessing whether it’s going to work or not. I will be replacing it with Hive or Nest at the first opportunity. ### 1/5 — Craig *2020-01-13* I work in apps so i know not all features are realistic, but maybe the ability to set a temperature reminder into your calendar would be good, so that you can remind yourself to turn the heating back down if you have cranked it up, or if youre going out. I always turn my heating down when i go out and completely forget to turn it in before i arrive home to the freezing cold house! ### 1/5 — App is garbage *2019-04-10* Seen the new stat so thought I’d give it a go in my own home before offering to fit for customers. Glad I did, created a account still not received a activation email to get in my account. Then Try to log into the app & it just crashes. This will be boxed up & given back to the merchants. Total Garbage should have known better than going with this company swapped loads of their old programmable rooms stats, because they went faulty, seems like they are keeping the tradition going... ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great system *2024-12-08* Great system, 6 years and only time I’ve had an issue was when the batteries went dead in the thermostat. ### 5/5 — Great App *2021-01-21* Great and great control of the system. Although the stat is a standard up and down stat when using the App it becomes fully programmable. Simple to use and never let me down. With the extreme winter we had this year it was so nice to be able to turn the heating up on my way home so it was nice and toasty when I got in. Great product and great price. ### 4/5 — 4 years on and still strong *2020-10-02* It’s a good little app, there have been times when I’ve had to restart the system to get it running again but it’s never been an issue, I bought the set up cheap and I’m impressed, half an hour to install and set up, works pretty well, I’d like to see a 30 min heating boost function. For the money it’s great value, temperamental at times but once you understand how to get around it you’re be fine. ### 3/5 — Great - when it works! *2023-09-10* I’ve had this for a while now, and when it’s working fine (about 70% of the time) it’s great, easy to use and controllable on my phone. But - and this is so annoying - when it doesn’t work it’s a flipping nightmare! The control is flashing red, and as I am now a reasonable expert on getting it to stop flashing, nothing I do this time resolves it. C’mon Salus - rebooting doesn’t work, holding the pairing button doesn’t work… give me a clue before the winter sets in please!! ### 3/5 — Key Chains Doesn’t Work *2021-10-04* Great app. Love turning the heating on from my phone or when out. My password is stored in Keychains and the app doesn’t retrieve it. Иногда простое движение пальцем по экрану ( случайное) изменяет заданную температуру... Хорошо что изменили шкалу гистерезиса, 1 грС то что нужно! ### 3/5 — One touch heating *2019-09-30* This app desperately needs a simple option to turn heating on for maybe 15-30 minutes at a time, then revert back to whatever it’s set to do. It’s too easy to crank the heating up a few degrees then forget about it and wake up during the night sweating. ### 2/5 — New update is buggy *2023-10-16* I’ve been using this for a few years and in general it’s been ok. However, at times it doesn’t work for my partner in that we can’t turn the heating off without going to the wall switch itself. The new update is quite buggy and doesn’t allow switching from schedule to manual quickly or at all sometimes without closing the app down. The rotating arrow icon on bottom right hand side doesn’t seem to serve a purpose?
