(let's see if that's true, seeing all the other reviews) and why is it changing my phone brightness to 100%? i didn't give it any such permission to do that. unless that's what biometrics is (doubt) also when i click on my pass in "pay as you go" it doesn't show anything (was hoping to see details), and if you try to click anywhere but the back button it just crashes? ### 1/5 — Developer still isn't fixing this app *2023-12-06, version 2.8.4* This app has been extremely poor quality for several months. SPX finally came out with an update about a month ago - and still didn't bother to fix one of the app's biggest problems. Every 3-4 times that the user attempts to do anything in this app, the app crashes, returns the error "Unable to process the request.Please contact customer service," logs the user out, and disables FaceID. Transit users would be better served by finding a roll of quarters and transit agencies would be better served by selecting another vendor other than SPX. ### 1/5 — Do not download this app!!! *2023-11-22* The RTA does not use this app anymore. Our party purchased over $80 worth of RTA passes using this app which we can’t use on the RTA. We all read that the Go Mobile RTA app was supported by the RTA which is not true. RTA hasn’t used this app in over 2 years…but they still took our $. Lame ### 1/5 — Double-billed me for a Monthly Pass *2023-11-20* Like everyone else my experience is that it crashes all the time, logs you out & won’t let you permanently dismiss the biometric popup screen either, making it an embarrassing and time-wasting process, and the route planning stuff is useless Then I got hit with a double charge and RTA still hasn’t resolved this two weeks later. The UI also does not read info from contacts or password savers so there is no option to autofill information like address or credit card info. Very poorly designed app. ### 1/5 — Poor functioning, logs out *2023-10-03* With a rating of 1.2 out of 5.0 over more than 100 ratings, you would think that SPX would make an attempt at making this app better. Unfortunately, SPX also seems completely uninterested in doing that. This app randomly logs the user out - which is of course extremely inconvenient when trying to board a bus! "Hold on driver, let me log in again to this app so that I can pay my fare." Everything else about the app is also clunky - passes require effort to activate every single time that one uses them. Nice donation I had. I am clueless without help from either. They didn’t know why I didn’t have a bus pass. It’s been two years since I haven’t seen it. But I didn’t understand the email as it had no instructions. It’s hard for me to utilize information easy. Had to use the correct email that was listed in that email. Look the same but different.. both my gmail and school email are tied to the same card. I suppose. So I don’t know if I used my third gmail account. Works so much better than the last app. ### 4/5 — RTA Go Mobile *2023-08-23* Good app, but asked for my personal information and my phone password. Started to experience typing problems when shared my phone information after prompted to type my information. ### 3/5 — Been a long time but 100% banned *2025-05-19, version 2.9.32* I’ve been using the app to pay for my rides. Which all work. Has given some stars. One time a bus driver denied earth day. And she hounded me throughout a 5 minute ride. Eventually they end up giving free rides within the app. Now it was earth day. And I thought it was the same Monday. So lost $5 without warning. It’s a good thing they now mask the device. Now the negative 2 stars. Is that that I have not received my college free bus pass. Which accounts $150 per semester. It’s became like that bipolar. Last winter, not sure when. I lost my bus pass in the app. Admission helped with sign up again but with my phone number. Sadly I had to bail out that semester. After severe depression, I managed to get a bus pass on my app for the spring semester last year! But once getting to summer, I had to pay it, but in 25cents. Thanks for the 10 rides reload. I contacted through phone but I’m 100% antisocial and best she said was to sign up for classes. I looked shocked. I was already is and that’s the last step we have. Everything is now directed at RTA not admission. I have paid the fee to have the bus pass. But it’s gone for a year. What happened is that my school graduated me. I no longer receive Amazon prime benefits. But apparently it wasn’t the degree I wanted so I continued to get a 100% completed. With 4 classes left. I’m at 90% completed. RTA removed the phone number from sign up and according to the college that was necessary for RTA to send a bus pass. I have deleted my account many time hopefully something will happen. Added my phone number through a login portal. But wasn’t an avail in the summer. Now I look panic faced because I’m over 90 units. And that’s the end of financial aid. I added classes I thought I needed but the counselor did not say anything and I repeated that one. Repeating classes must have sent me to ell! But yes. 3 $5 passes and nothing. I fear I’m not getting my bus pass due to my graduation status. If it works like Amazon report system. Or either the number isn’t used like before… other note: you need a separate account to buy regular passes. Your shared Gmail is also blocked from login in. I obliterated my account on my student email. So it has option to buy. But I’ll keep that clear. ### 3/5 — Call *2023-01-20, version 2.8.0* I was stuck on the wallet as well but I called and works now now you do is call them lol ### 2/5 — Lacking details *2025-10-13* It’s okay, but I wish it indicated which direction the bus is traveling. Sure we are told the bus number, but if you don’t usually ride the bus and only have a time it is possible to get on the wrong bus. Also the map is only okay demonstrating the starting point and where the bus stop is, but does a poor job indicating which side of the road you should be on. Also it makes me walk a long way to the bus stop. It would be nice to see if there was a closer stop. ### 2/5 — Student Pass is gone? *2024-08-22* A new semester started and suddenly the app doesn’t work.
