It is definitely this app that does this and not anything else on phone, based on my testing. Please fix this so that I can safely listen to RTE on my phone again! Thank you. ### 4/5 — Pause/play *2026-09-02* Love the updated app but there is a problem that still hasn’t been resolved. Having paused live radio and then pressing play, it takes an age for the live broadcast to resume. ### 4/5 — Could be better *2025-08-06, version 27.0* It’s a good app, but it could a great app. It runs a little slow no matter what you use it on iPad etc. More listen back features would be great with longer times to listen back to, not just the past week as on Lyric FM. Different good! Here we have a simple and visual means of selecting all that’s available on this site. Much easier to get around compared to the previous version. Really well done. I especially like the RTÉ radio “Listen Back” feature on this app and to continue listening later if interrupted. Simple to keep up to date with the goings in Ireland. Thank you. There are not many to speak the language with here in Michigan as a mitten clover. FABULOUS! Keep up the amazing range of options. The only suggestion I have is to put an obvious 🔍search option on the app site. If there is one I cannot find it. It would be a time saver and I cannot find Ambient Orbit on my phone, but comes up as icon on my iPad. Keep up the great work! ### 5/5 — Brilliant app *2024-06-07* Well done whoever developed this. Landscape view please as well as portrait, ability to pause and rewind while a programme is playing live? Playback of a programme to be available ASAP after live one has finished. On Listen Back, the programme’s progress bar has disappeared, so one can no longer skip forward or back to a specific point in a programme, by tapping on the progress bar. Why? The whole of Help & Support has disappeared. Why? For example, this is how one accessed a music programme’s playlist, to find details of songs played. One should never make an app poorer…. ### 1/5 — Not User Friendly *2023-08-07, version 23.3* I miss my old Doc on One app, the new podcast section on the RTE Radio app is virtually unplayable. If I have to pause it or go back, it cuts off & touch & go whether it goes back to the spot where I left off. If not I t’s impossible to fast forward next to where I was. Hard to believe what should be an improvement is actually much much worse. Probably the worst entertainment related App I have used. Please sort it out.
