Crap app!!! *2023-06-26* Login works fine at RTN.org, but app says my username and password doesn’t match their records. Deleted.... ### 2/5 — Severely Outdated!!! *2020-11-30, version 9.05.112* In 2020 when online mobile banking is more important than ever, I feel like I’m stuck in the stone ages using this app and at this point I’m starting to think it’s not the app but rtn themselves. I’ve considered switching banks due to this, I envy those who use other banks that can Atleast see same day transactions. The app can be so much better than what it is now but it seems who ever is in charge chooses to be lazy or is directing attention elsewhere. Pack it up!!!!! ### 2/5 — Charges and app crashing *2020-08-07, version 9.05.112* The app often crashes. Been accessed charges a couple of times because the app failed to open. Unable to access my account in order to make transfers since yesterday, app is still not up running. Tried to explain the situation and why I was accessed the charges to the customer representative and to possibly have those charges reversed, but to no avail. I can’t access my funds now and it is frustrating. ### 1/5 — App is broken *2020-07-24, version 9.05.112* When I click on bill pay option on the app. This app just says loading. Let’s me log in on the website just fine. ### 3/5 — no password sync with internet acct *2020-01-27, version 9.05.105* Tried to open app after months passed from last use as I normally use online version. Failed to open three times and locked me out. Finally discovered why: I changed my internet acct password months ago but it obviously does not sync with associated app. So, kept trying to open acct via app with hew password and it refused and locked me out. Had to call support number , they unlocked app, got in with old password and then changed to same password as on internet acct site. That is not a good thing, password changes should sync! Submitted complaint to RTN on Facebook, got a totally useless reply that fails to address suggestion to improve app to “best practices”. Their reply: “Hi Tony—Thank you for your comment. Currently members are required to provide separate log-in information for Mobile Banking and for Online Banking as these systems are run on different platforms. Please know that if you ever get locked out of either Mobile or Online Banking, an RTN representative is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 781-736-9900 to reset your password or help you with your account in any way. We appreciate your input and your Credit Union membership. Have a great day!” ——— My reply back summarized : Virtually all bank and financial online and apps run on “different platforms’, but they virtually all use “best practices” and assure that app password is synched and identical to online password changes.. ### 4/5 — Principle only payments option would be nice. *2019-12-16, version 9.05.105* Can only pay interest on the app. ### 3/5 — Banking info is good but finding an ATM not good *2016-11-05, version 7.88.00.136* This app is useful for checking your balance, transferring money or depositing checks. But try searching for an ATM and it says you have to enable location service. Even after doing that, it still doesn't work and gives you the same error. If you type in the location name, it only gives you an address, not a store name.
