Every 10 seconds it takes you to the Home Screen and says it’s “loading new settings” ### 1/5 — Technology at it’s worst *2025-11-15, version 8.2.4* The app stopped tracking me at the 10k mark of a half marathon. When I didn’t move for 20 minutes (in the app)it led my parents to believe I was injured and they spent the rest of the race trying to get to me. Meanwhile I finished the race and my parents were not at the finish line. Sometimes life is better without technology. Not working today! Hopefully Bellin changes app. ### 1/5 — Not “real-time” tracking *2024-11-30* Despite the race, and RTRT advertising tracking as “real-time”, turns out it was nothing but that. The “real-time” tracking ended up being merely estimations based on participants timing data at split points. It’s very concerning to expect a family member getting to an aid station at a certain time, having them not arrive anywhere close to that time, and then finding relief that they passed the point ahead of what was estimated but their “real-time” estimations are now not even near what they should be since their timing chip wasn’t read at the split point so the estimations become even more worthless going forward in the race. ### 1/5 — Crap app *2024-10-20, version 8.0.4* Came to see my nephew in Cbus marathon. My sister, bro in law and I were all tracking him and all three of us were getting different times. We went to OSU Shoe when it said he was there. No Jack. We sat at the finish line and it said on my brother in law’s app that he was finished 15 minutes before he ran past us. If the app can’t accurately track racers, it’s more of a hindrance than a help. Very frustrating. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t actually track location of runner! *2021-10-17* I “tracked” my cousin on the app for the entire marathon and was planning on cheering him on around mile 23. It said he was almost a mile away from my location when all of the sudden he passed me. I was totally caught off guard and didn’t get a picture because I thought he was still 10 min away. My other family members were at a different location of the race, and the app said he already passed when he hadn’t yet. We were all very confused. I don’t see the point in “tracking” a person when it’s not actually their location. Milestones were accurate, but the tracker was terrible. I would have been better off not using the app at all. **Developer response:** Hi Hanley15, We appreciate hearing about your experience. Congratulations to your cousin on their Marathon. The tracking provides estimated locations based on the timing data received at the checkpoints (milestones) to provide a best estimate as to the athlete based on their pace data. The estimates can be affected by a variety of factors - an athlete's change in pace, be it a speed up or slow down between the checkpoints, pit stops, etc. ### 2/5 — Thank *2025-10-12* I was able to see half of my children's marathon from the east. This software is great. Thank you very much ### 2/5 — Marathon runner *2020-09-29* I downloaded this app to help train for a marathon that’s coming. I was quickly disappointed when I found I had to have my phone with me for it to track. The main reason for getting a fitness device was to not have to carry my phone and still have all the fitness apps. I started the practice race with my phone but dropped my phone off at the 4 mile mark. I lost several miles because it did not sync with my watch. 20 miles not recorded. ### 3/5 — Good when it works *2025-11-09, version 8.2.4* Very inconsistent coverage. Lost connection with the athlete at 5 miles, picked up again at 10 miles, lost connection again at 15 miles and unable to locate athlete the rest of the marathon.
