Rubbish makes taking care of your neighborhood fun!

### 5/5 — This app is dope !

*2018-06-07, version 0.1.4*

It’s the most fun you can have with trash.....I hope

### 5/5 — Good vibes

*2018-05-07, version 0.1*

It made me feel good to document my good Sameratln deed. The app made it easy and thought the little graphics were fun.

### 5/5 — A Smarter App for us all

*2018-05-07, version 0.1*

Finally, an app on my phone that I feel good about using!

A practice in mindfulness, this app’s been a vehicle for seeing, touching, experiencing, appreciating and re-acquainting myself with all the little things I used to just walk by everyday... and a reminder that I have the power to change the little things I don’t like (is it so hard to use the corner bin, neighbor-who-shall-remain-anonymous!! Sheesh!)

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2018-05-05, version 0.1*

Great concept and beautiful designs. The name was probably conceived of by a beautiful genius. Love the sleek look.

### 5/5 — Amazing ideas

*2018-05-05, version 0.1*

Extraordinary tool for social altruism that has been missing from the space is finally here. This will change things.

### 5/5 — I can’t stop!

*2018-05-02, version 0.1*

I keep taking pictures of litter. I feels so great to tell someone that I can’t stop.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why is this even a thing?

*2019-03-13, version 0.4.1*

Another example of millennial trash trying to capitalize on people’s incessant need to prove they’re doing good, instead of just doing good. For goodness’ sake, just pick up your trash, and stop trying to pretend you’re starting the next big revolution, or build community around things we should all be doing anyway. Ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Have to log in, or app does nothing

*2018-10-05, version 0.2.5*

When you install the app there are two buttons “Login with Facebook”, “Login with Google”.

Ok, this app does nothing, delete.

### 1/5 — I don't use Google or Facebook

*2018-10-04, version 0.2.5*

Please allow direct account creation via email. Can't use your app without that. I'm not going to create third party accounts that I don't want to use to use your app.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t even let me sign in

*2018-08-02, version 0.2.5*

It says error every time I sign in with google, used two different accounts. Please fix this I just want to try it

### 2/5 — Interesting concept but bad implementation

*2018-12-02, version 0.2.9*

App is clean but as of the time of this review is nothing more than a camera. You can’t see pictures people took of their trash or even look at your own previously collected items.

### 2/5 — Would love to test the idea!

*2018-05-26, version 0.1.4*

I like the idea, but I don’t like that the only way to sign up is with Facebook. I choose to link Facebook to no other account, and so didn’t try this app that I was initially very excited about. Perhaps other ways to sign in soon?

### 3/5 — Can’t sign in without Google or Facebook

*2019-09-12*

I don’t want to have to sign in with Google or Facebook. I’d prefer to have a no-account option or at the very least an account with the app/company itself.

### 4/5 — Motivated

*2020-08-30, version 0.9.13*

Fun idea but not necessarily easier for cleanup. The app does motivate me to want to clean and track the trash that’s being removed but it’s got a few issues I can’t quite figure out. For instance, I thought there would be different default categories like aluminum cans or masks. I made a category for masks but misspelt it a cant correct or remove it now. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to end a session. I had to close the app and when I came back, it let me chose to end or resume. I think it would be nice if the app automatically had more detailed choices like cigarette butts or fast food garbage (maybe the city will see that McDonald’s is not cleaning up). Outside of the critiques, it’s a motivating app and the future rewards will be a nice tough. I also hope it can get people signed up to do weekend cleanups with fellow neighbors.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2019-05-13*

It think it is a very nice way to keep our streets and neighbourhood clean.

### 5/5 — Rubbish Makes Picking Up Trash Fun!

*2018-06-12, version 0.1.4*

I love how user friendly this app is. Plus the icons are super cute. 😍 All I want to do is run around town picking up and geo tagging trash. It’s such a great way to catch up with friends or meet someone new. Rubbish makes you feel good by doing good. Now get to it! Everyone wants to live in a beautiful neighborhood but it’s up to us, the citizens, to make it happen.
