The iOS version is very poor in comparison, but the reason I don’t give 5 stars is actually because of the limited import and export features. Only GPX, TCX, and CSV are exported, so I just use RunGap as an intermediary because it has an enormous range of data transfer facilities, including support for FIT files which RubiTrack accepts. ### 4/5 — Does most of what I want and is stable *2026-03-09, version 6.3.5* I want to second everything Kona Biker said. And add stability. rubiTrack (I think I started with an earlier version than 6) has continued to work for years. I doubt I would ever rate an app of this type a five because it’s so feature deep and therefore impossible to have an easy interface. PS. I see I gave it lower rating in the past because of some major irritation which now seems to be gone. ### 3/5 — Sync mit Garmin ist ein Tamagotchi *2025-07-11* Öffnet man länger als 90 Tage die rubitrack-Version mit der neuen Garmin-Schnittstelle nicht, dann hat meine keine Chance mehr, die Daten zu importieren und demnach Lücken in der Datenbank. Sehr ärgerlich. Sonst die beste mir bekannte Offline-Trainingsdatenbank. ### 3/5 — Ärgerliche Überraschung *2025-06-02* Nach dem Wechsel von Version 3 auf Version 6 eine unangenehme Überraschung: Teile der früheren Kaufversion, insbesondere die Listendarstellung, sind jetzt nur noch im Abo verfügbar. Besonders ärgerlich: den Hersteller habe ich über das Kontaktformular seiner Webseite zuvor angesprochen, ob die Basisversion alle Features von Version 3 unterstützt. Keine Reaktion! Jetzt verstehe ich auch, warum. Sehr schade - bei einem ansonsten ordentlichen Stück Software. ### 4/5 — Très bon *2025-05-02, version 6.3.2* J'aime beaucoup cette application vraiment complète. Je regrette juste le système d'abonnement. ### 3/5 — Meritevole, potrebbe essere ottima ma.. *2025-02-02, version 6.2.7* Migliorabile sulla cartografia (a differenza di qualsiasi programma lo zoom non si attiva con lo scroll della rotella del mouse, dovrebbe esserci la disponibilità di una base cartografica diversa e migliore). Inconcepibile e inaccettabile sull’App che correda il programma Desktop la mancanza di una ricerca per nome. Per il resto una delle poche alternative valide su Macintosh. ### 4/5 — Das Beste für Mac aber... *2024-11-11* leider auch das einzigste an guter Sportsoftware. Ich finde das Programm im großen und ganzen schon super ABER ich bitte seit Jahren um gewisse Änderungen und alles kommt stets auf eine "Wunschliste" Ob diese Wunschliste je umgesetzt wird, keine Ahnung. Immerhin sorgt der Herausgeber der App für Stabilität und die Kommunikation mit Garmin, Poar & Co funtioniert super. ### 2/5 — Rubitrack-Cash Grab *2024-10-24, version 6.2.7* Overall a good tracker. I started with version 3 .Not happy that it changed to a subscription model. The cost of yearly maintenance hasn't really changed the product much. Wechsel auf Vserion 6, auch um das Projekt zu unterstützen (Abo Model). Bisher kein Import der Notizen möglich, diese müssen von Hand kopiert werden. Faktisch erkenne ich als Hobbysportler keine wirkliche Verbessrung von Version 5 zu Version 6. ### 3/5 — Bello ma incompleto di una funzione base *2024-07-28, version 6.2.5* Manca sempre una ricerca per percorso. Per cui puoi conoscere se e quando tu abbia fatto una certa attività a meno tu non lo ricordi. Um die volle Funktionalität aus Version 5 weiter nutzen zu können, muss man nun ein Abo bezahlen. D.h. man bezahlt am Anfang gleich zweimal für die gleichen Funktionalitäten. Sehr schade. Musste leider wechseln, weil die alte Garmin Connect- Schnittstelle nicht mehr unterstützt wird. ### 3/5 — PERDO TUTTO QUANDO SI AGGIORNA *2023-12-14, version 6.2.3* La uso dal 2012. Tuttavia il primo e fastidioso inconveniente è la perdita di tutti i dati quando Apple rilancia un aggiornamento del sistema operativo. Veramente una grande scocciatura! Il secondo problema è economico. Da quest'anno si deve pagare un abbonamento, abbastanza costoso. C'è da valutare se merita rimanere su questa applicazione. Hab auch immer brav upgedatet, nur bei V. 6 habe ich etwas gewartet. Leider verlor V.5 an Funktionalität... Dass ich nun für Update 5->6 und für das aktuelle Jahr 2 mal zur Kasse gebeten wurde, ist schon dreist. I have complained many times about the awful date display in the main activities view (the date is displayed in medium format for all English regions, but the year is truncated and not visible - for Austria, the source of the app and shown for the developers screenshots, the display uses a short date format and is OK, so why not use it for English regions too?), and have had no reply whatsoever. A ‘pro’ version can make sense if you actually add ‘pro’ features, but to remove basic features and ask $99/year to unlock them is ridiculous, especially having paid $23 for the app to start with. If you want to go with a subscription based model, offer the base product for free and then the upgrade. Overall, this has felt like slap in the face of the customers who have supported the product from its inception. ### 1/5 — Syncronistation *2024-10-12, version 6.2.7* Leider gibt es immer wieder Probleme mit der Syncronisation zwischen Garmin und Rubitrack (Fehlende Einheiten etc.). Programm ist aus meiner Sicht unübersichtlich und entwickelt sich trotz kostenpflichtiger Nutzung nicht wirklich weiter. ### 1/5 — Complete Rip-off *2024-01-18, version 6.2.4* The "base app" is already expensive and you basically get no useful features at all. It's just a dump for GPX tracks, nothing else. You're better of using Basecamp or whatever over bad software is included in a device purchase. I used to like this application, but the licensing model has gotten to the point where I'm not just disappointed, I'm really ticked off by it. A "not recommended" isn't strong enough. I tried the Pro subscription for a day, but for me, it was so full of bugs and inconsistencies, it isn't worth it either. ### 1/5 — Beschnitte Funktionen bei Version 6 ohne Abo *2023-11-24, version 6.2.3* Leider setzt sich hier der Trend fort, zusätzlich Kasse mit einem Abomodell zu machen. Ich habe ein Upgrade von 5 auf 6 gemacht, um dann festzustellen, dass ich meine Ausrüstung nicht mehr verwalten kann, ohne ein jährliches Abo zu bezahlen. Hätte ich das gewusst, hätte ich auf das Update verzichtet. ### 1/5 — Handy if you have the Mac version, but a serious flaw *2023-11-04* Rubitrack is a great app on the Mac, well worth the combined subscription in my view, but this iOS version is really just a limited app to supplement it with tracking and imports from Apple Health. The imports from Apple Health are extremely useful (though rubiTrack doesn’t know that Apple Health has been available on the iPad for some time now!!!), but the tracking can be far better done on dedicated sports tracking apps, fitness watches, or bike computers. If you are an iOS only user with no Mac, like me, you will be disappointed with what you get for the subscription, as there is no proper iPad version, although the iPhone app does run in phone emulation. If there was a proper iPad app, I’d certainly be happy to pay the subscription, but not for effectively the iPhone app only. The biggest flaw for UK users though, and its one reason why I give only one star (poor iPad support is the other), is that it is impossible to show the date properly in the activity view - for most activities the year is not visible. This is hopeless for filtered activities for more than one year of data. ### 1/5 — This app is a scam *2023-08-04, version 6.1.5* This is a scam. This purchase gives you a basically unfunctional app that has LESS functionality than the old Rubitrack version 5. Once you have purchased this app, you are then urged by the developer to purchase a subscription that does nothing more than restore the functionality to the old version. That is egregious and pure greed on the part of the developer. I can't begin to imagine why Apple has allowed this on its app store. ### 1/5 — grosse deception *2023-04-22, version 6.1.5* grosse deception. utilisateur depuis rubitrack 3 en 2011, je viens d'acheter et je ne retouve pas des fonctions de base de Rubitrack 5 pro à savoir assigner des equiments et l'affichage de calendrier. Hors de question de pauer un abonnement pour ces fonctons. Je retourne sur Rubitrack 5 Pro ; j'ai acheté ppur rien .. je suis fortement décu et m'estime lésé. ### 1/5 — Nichts geht über Garmin Connect *2023-04-22, version 6.1.5* Nicht einmal die Synchronisation von Garmin Connect funktioniert, obwohl eingerichtet und aktiv... findet null Aktivitäten. Auch die "Auffüllung" liefert keine Daten. Absolut nutzlos für mich und die 21,99 € sind rausgeschmissenes Geld. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Love it *2026-07-15, version 6.3.5* I have over 2500 activities recorded from as far back as 2008 (some of those earlier items imported from a different app that died). rubiTrack shows me everything I need to know about my activities, easily searchable so I can look back when planning a repeat or similar activity, presents data in a way that makes sense to me. And I’ve found the developer highly supportive when I’ve had a minor problem. ### 5/5 — Umstieg von Sporttracks *2026-05-01* Zuerst war ich erstaunt wie mein Umstieg von Sporttracks, die Datenübernahme funktioniert hat. Es waren immerhin 10 Jahre Aufzeichnungen. rubiTrack lässt keine (kaum noch) Wünsche offen !!! ### 5/5 — TOP Lauf-App für Mac *2025-02-22* Beste Lauf-App für den Mac auf dem Markt. Detaillierte Auswertungsmöglichkeiten und akkurate Synchronisation mit Garmin, Suunto und Polar Geräten. Selbstverständlich werden auch Apple Watches und andere Uhren unterstützt. Der Support ist extrem reaktionsschnell und antwortet auf jede Mail. Selbst Verbesserungsvorschläge werden umgesetzt, wenn sie für die gesamte Community sinnvoll sind. Als Bonus sind noch die Apps für iPad und iPhone zu erwähnen. Einfach sehr klug durchdacht. A rare thing to find these days! ### 5/5 — Application parfaite du sportif *2023-09-19, version 6.2.3* J'utilise cette application depuis sa version 2 (2011) et je synchronise toutes mes activités depuis (vélo, natation, course à pied...) pour les stocker, visualiser et analyser. Ultra complète au niveau data en plus d'être esthétiquement très réussie, elle vient surplanter les logiciels en ligne Garmin Connect ou encore Strava.. Synchronisation parfaite également avec Withings pour le suivi du poids.. Je la recommande fortement d'autant plus que l'équipe de développement est à l'écoute et disponible et cela depuis plus de 10 ans...
