IRVINE, SAN JOSE UNIVERSITY etc…. ### 1/5 — Truly abhorrent on every level, this app is a literal pyramid scheme *2021-04-20* Appalling, glitchy interface that is a nightmare to use. DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR MONEY After receiving a duplicate charge from QPay to my 3rd party bank account, I contacted customer service. Not only were agents slow to reply, they were unhelpful and unprofessional. QPay refused to take responsibility for their system error and disclosed the personal information of another user without consent. After lengthy conversations in their glitchy support chat (there is no number to call) it is still unclear whether I will have the unauthorised charge of $125 returned to my bank account. My only other option is to launch a dispute with my bank, however, QPay support threatened to ‘revoke any active tickets’ I had purchased for the same event if I do this. The worst part is I will likely be forced to give QPay my money/banking details again in the future due to their rapid monopolisation of University clubs and their events. In sum, THIS IS A LITERAL PYRAMID SCHEME To any prospective users or University clubs/societies, do not touch this app with a ten foot pole. At best, your members will hate you for it. ### 1/5 — Student Scam *2021-03-07* After a year, monthly inactivity fee will be charged. No way to close down account yourself without contacting support, worst app interface I’ve ever seen, and the most backwards methods. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Useful app and helpful support *2021-07-07* Downloaded the app as part of a society promotion on campus - they use it for events and membership. It’s a pretty clean app and I have found it to be relatively bug free. The rewards/“cash backs” are also really good for me so far - I’ve saved about $20 at no cost at all. When I did have issues with loading money onto the card, the in app support helped me within 24 hrs and the issue was resolved. Overall it’s fit for purpose and I don’t have anything big to complain about. ### 5/5 — LOVE THIS! *2021-06-04* I’m a UNSW student and having all the discounts all in one place is so easy and user-friendly.
