*What is an Iron Score? It is a non-invasive assessment that helps determine your risk of iron deficiency anemia using a simple fingernail selfie to analyze the paleness of your fingernail beds. Not getting enough iron, folate or vitamin B12 in your diet may cause:

• Brittle nails
• Fatigue
• Physical weakness
• Lightheadedness
• Dizziness
• Pallor (Pale or yellowish skin)
• Shortness of breath
• Headaches
• Cold hands and feet

*What is a Circulation Score? is a measure of how fast your blood is moving in your fingertips.
A score lower than 50 indicates poor circulation. Consult your doctor.
A score between 50 and 75 indicates that circulation is borderline and could be improved.
A score over 75 is normal. The majority of women and men score between 75 - 100. You may notice increases and decreases with physical activity.

### 1/5 — Dangerous app

*2026-06-28, version 3.2.1*

My hemoglobin is 29.3 and ferritin is 5, but Ruby Health stops at 26 and claimed I am not anemic. I am medically diagnosed with severe anemia. I got this app to show my progress, but based on my experience this app is unsafe for anyone tracking their condition.

### 3/5 — Does not seem to be reliable

*2025-10-06, version 3.0.32*

I wanted this to work so I knew if I need to adjust my iron intake. I did this test two days in a row and there was a 2 point difference. The lower of the two numbers was done in my bathroom which has what claims to be a daylight light bulb and the higher number was done in a room with a standard led. I do the free version so I only use it when I feel off and need to know if it is iron or protein I need. hopefully one day this can be a lot more accurate because right now they're really aren't at home tests unless you get it from a different country and or pay an arm and a leg and I'm not going to run to the doctor every time there's a problem because it's pretty much pointless for a female in the US.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-07-13, version 3.0.5*

Great product

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2025-06-30, version 3.0.5*

Easy to track my wellness trends with instant results.

### 3/5 — Lighting is Key

*2025-06-12, version 3.0.5*

Depending on lighting the results can be wildly different.
App need to control for lighting or advise user as to lighting.

### 1/5 — don’t work

*2025-05-18, version 3.0.5*

horrible all it does says can’t find nail

### 1/5 — Would Not take pic of Nales

*2025-05-06, version 3.0.5*

I could Not get it to take a picture of my Nails with my iPad, it kept saying move closer, but Nothing, would not take a picture, I have to delete the app, they better Not try and take money from me, I only hade it for an hour, and tried taking pics of my nails for 50 minutes.

### 1/5 — Inaccurate

*2025-04-21, version 3.0.4*

App kept showing deficient or low iron but got my lab results and it was 20 points higher than what the app was showing

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work since update

*2025-04-14, version 3.0.0*

They deleted the manual test and the app no longer works for me

### 1/5 — Inaccurate results, interesting concept

*2025-04-07, version 3.0.0*

I tested myself twice in indoor light and next to natural window light. Both tests from Ruby said I am not anemic when blood tests confirm I am severely anemic enough to require IV iron. I would not trust this app for any actual medical advice. Uninstall for me.
