### 4/5 — Good but...

*2015-04-06, version 2.20141029*

Good but still needs complexity and advanced levels

### 4/5 — Haven't gone through the application yet

*2015-03-30*

But it looks promising.

### 4/5 — Cool idea

*2015-03-17, version 2.20141029*

### 5/5 — Total newbie here but this app gave me confidence!

*2014-06-06*

This app was just what I need to get started with Ruby!

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2014-02-23*

Great app! Just what I was looking for. An "Advanced deck" in the future would be great. Many thanks!

### 4/5 — Well worth the time

*2014-02-12, version 2.20140123*

I started learning rails this week. By day I am using Internet tutorials etc but in the evening I wanted an app to help me build my rails knowledge further. I played with this app for 30 mins one night. The next day I was genuinely surprised and very pleased to realise I had new and useful rails commands at the from of my mind. It made my next day twice as productive. I am working now to gain confident mastery of all content in this app.
Update 6 months later, still using app for short burst learning when I am away from my work desk, still find new commands I am not aware of or using as I should. Great app, don't think you know rails until you reach mastery of all cards.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2014-02-01, version 2.20140123*

The design is good, it just need more cards to be added.

### 5/5 — Great flash card app for those learning RoR

*2014-01-11*

Just as described. Ruby on Rails flash card app. Great job on the UI and content.

### 4/5 — Ooops

*2013-09-26*

All told, not a bad little flash card app, but it suffers from inconsistency ("gem list" for example is given two conflicting definitions) and a limited subject area (if you're looking for help writing a rails app, this isn't it; it only covers the command line interface for rails).

The inconsistency is frustrating, the limited scope disappointing, but not enough to drop my rating of it very much.

### 5/5 — Great Learning App

*2013-08-10, version 2.20121005*

great app for someone who is interested in learning ruby on rails

### 5/5 — Good app

*2013-08-08, version 2.20121005*

This app is great for beginners

### 4/5 — Nice

*2013-06-05, version 2.20121005*

Concise and lightweight review tool.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2017-01-15*

There is no reason this app needs an internet connection or a login. It's just a flash card app.

### 1/5 — An App that needs an App that needs....

*2016-11-12*

It's not like download and run it. It's more like download and get annoyed. It's spam.

### 2/5 — Reminders are Offensive

*2016-09-09, version 3.20160822*

Some of the study reminders are really tactless and when i reached out to support with the issue, they stated it would be removed with their next update. Well, thats come and gone and im still being reminded by my recently and unexpectedly deceased mother that i need to study code. It happened twice just this week. Not at all satisfied with the lack of integrity theyre showing in the matter. Uninstalled the app.

### 2/5 — Why rails 2

*2013-05-11, version 2.20121005*

Rails 3 has been released for over 2 years and offers numerous improvements, so why bother making an app for rails 2?

### 3/5 — Not bad not great

*2014-06-09, version 2.20140123*

It's better than nothing but still room for improvement. I'd give the implementation a 4star but content a 2star

### 3/5 — Nice app

*2012-08-11, version 2.20120122*

This sure wil be of immense use for me as I begin to be a pro programmer

### 4/5 — Useful and unique

*2015-11-14*

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2015-05-28, version 2.20141029*

Helpful for basic functionality and syntax

### 4/5 — Practice

*2015-05-11, version 2.20141029*

This is an exercise very well

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Older Student

*2018-04-14*

I want to become a coder and enter the world of coding. I am going to begin with the flash cards. Brainscape believes this is the way of the future and so I am going to star here.

### 5/5 — Great study guide

*2017-07-22*

Great for refreshing my memory when I have had a long break from rails coding

### 5/5 — Stupid review

*2016-09-14*

The person leaving a bad review because they are getting notifications from their dead mother is an idiot. Please disregard. That's not how notifications work.

### 5/5 — Good methodology

*2015-11-11, version 2.20141029*

Good methodology and practice options

### 5/5 — I like it

### 5/5 — Perfect Commute Companion

*2015-11-05*

Thinking about your thinking through this app is a great motivational tool to help you memorise on the go. For someone who has an hour commute it is a great hour of learning!

### 5/5 — Ruby on Rails

*2015-08-06*

This app is by far the best educational tool besides actually coding. You learn as quickly as you are capable of.

Awesome study aid.
