I have two dogs with sensitive stomachs and if they get sick on the rug, I no longer feel the need to cry because I know I can just throw it in the wash and it’ll come out looking fantastic. I also have two potbelly pigs living in my house and this is fun for them. They like to pull the base apart from the top, it’s fun for them so it’s actually an enrichment activity that keeps them entertained. I now own 7 ruggables and plan to purchase more. ### 5/5 — Animal proof rugs! *2024-03-04, version 5.6* We have fallen in love with our Ruggables. Since we discovered them at least 8 years ago, they are the only rugs we buy. We have bamboo floors on our main level and carpets up and downstairs and this rug system has helped save them all from foot traffic and pet messes! They really wash up quickly and easily! Love them. ### 3/5 — UX needs major improvements and no promo combinability *2024-02-18, version 5.5* First off, I love your rugs, they are the best on the market, but there are several things that frustrate me with your company and your app. A rewards program should be marketed everywhere, I go to the account tab and can’t even find my rewards, only the points I have. The only way to view my rewards is by clicking a star in the upper right corner of the cart which is very frustrating and likely an accessibility issue as well. You can’t stack promos, I understand this will cut into your bottom line but a rewards program is loyalty dollars earned, they should be able to be combined with a promo, that’s ridiculous. Also, there is no view in room feature, every single major rug seller has this capability but not Ruggable, very odd. ### 5/5 — I have dogs! *2024-02-17, version 5.5* These washable rugs are perfect for dog lovers. So they make a mistake, no worries. Easy to clean up. Beware, they will shrink a bit. Wash cool, dry low. If they do, the standard pad can be adjusted. I have the most updated version and my iPhone is running the lasted iOS. I have erased and reinstalled, nothing is working. I’d love to buy some rugs but 🤷🏻‍♀️ ### 1/5 — No View in Room option *2025-03-27, version 8.2* Downloaded this app for the sole purpose of being able to view Ruggable rugs in my room, using a camera or photo, and I was shocked that this company does not offer that functionality. ### 1/5 — Just the payment system was a PAIN!!! *2024-12-07, version 7.4* I haven’t received my rug yet. The rating is for placing the order. My husband tried multiple times to make a purchase with his Bank of America Visa card. It never went through. BofA verified the issue was on Ruggables end. They saw the attempted transactions that were incomplete. I tried to use his card with the same result. I tried my Visa card and it worked. Painful process. Ruggables was recommended by a friend so I persisted to make the purchase otherwise I would have moved on. Hope the rug is nice. ### 1/5 — Awful rugs *2024-10-23* I downloaded the app for the sole reason of leaving a review. I have never harbored as much hate towards any person or thing as I have to these rugs, words will never be able to accurately describe how much I hate these rugs. Every rug in my house has been replaced by one of these and my entire family loves them but they never have to put them back after washing them. The amount of time I have spent trying to line up the corners on these rugs just to mess up and try again is so massive I wouldn’t be surprised if it was greater than the total time I’ve spent sleeping in my entire life. If anyone is thinking about buying these rugs for the love of god don’t do it, it might seem nice at first but once you have that little sliver of Velcro on the side of the rug you just cant seem to cover up you’ll wish you would have just bought a new rug every time your rugs get dirty. Sometimes I wish my house would burn down just so I never have to put together one of those horrible horrible rugs ever again. ### 1/5 — Anniversary points and $15 credit *2024-10-13, version 6.7* I just received a text that told me I had a $15 credit and 150 points they’re having a 20% sale and I thought wow this makes these rugs more reasonable. I had to order two replacement rugs for color discrepancies in the rugs that I had ordered a few months ago. They gave me a small credit so I decided I would go ahead and use the pads and get a different hopefully better matching color than what I had. I had a very high points balance because of the couple of thousand dollars worth of rugs I had purchased. Apparently they expire and so now I have 200 and something points which would’ve been about 20 more dollars off and the $15 is nowhere to be found in my app. I am fine with not being able to double dip but there needs to be something that explains that when they just give you this blanket extra points after deleting your points and also a $15 credit that is not in there at all.. Just be honest and the colors are not true in any of the rugs that I’ve ordered. Slightly disappointed I do still like the fact that they wash and I’m not getting rid of them. I just won’t be ordering more. ### 1/5 — Shameful practices *2023-07-19, version 4.2* This app does not allow you to sort or filter by price, and it does not have a sale section. These are necessary basics. Especially considering how rugs range in price according to size, it’s hard to figure out what fits my budget and lifestyle. This is an accessibility issue that feels like an intentional barrier created to either confuse or deter people shopping on a budget. This conflicts with the concept of ruggable’s brand which is about rugs design for accessible cleaning and usage. ### 1/5 — Deceptive Premium Rug Listing *2023-06-23, version 4.1* When selecting a regular rug you can choose the pile height (low medium), but if you select a “premium” rug it does not say anything about pile height in the description. I did not realize premium was listed separately IN ADDITION to an being an option when you’re choosing a regular rug and accidentally bought the wrong pile. Ruggable will not honor my discount with an exchange for this mistake that happened because of their own bad App UX and dark pattern that exists to get more people to buy premium. ### 1/5 — App does not apply rewards points or track purchases *2023-05-07, version 3.8* This app is the worst. It doesn’t add spill points accurately and it doesn’t accurately keep record of your purchases and shipments. The app is so much worse than the website and even worse still is the service department.
