But this is fun little game. If you like games where you level things up and unlock stuff this is it. There are so many places where they could have gone iap but thankfully they didn't. I actually enjoy a lot the styles of iap games (like farming, harvesting etc) but the time/money gates make it frustrating. This game is fun. Wish there was more like it ### 4/5 — Zen game *2020-08-30* Relaxing game to play. The graphics are nice and smooth. Sometimes the screen feels a bit crowded, but that’s what you get on a phone screen, probably. Me not being cultured, a lot of text I’m quite sure references other media, but I have no clue where from. This simultaneously disappoints me and adds to the comedic effect. Sometimes, the quest chronology/dialogue can be confusing when a lot of events happen at once and you can end up going through dialogue with little context due to (I think) not talking to different characters in the right order, or not checking your mail/reading all your quests. Not extremely replayable; but it’s good to come back to after a few months. I read good things, and I like fishing and pirates, who doesn’t? However the game was unfortunately just not fun for me. The fishing is not fun or interesting, and neither is the story. I feel bad cause I tried to enjoy the game but it’s just not fun. I gave it one last shot today and it just does nothing for me. I will unfortunately be deleting it after only playing for about an hour. In reality I’d probably give it 2 or 3 stars but I gotta give it a 1 to try to prevent others from spending the money they are asking for this game. ### 1/5 — Controls bad *2018-12-17, version 1.51* BE WARNED! However, the story line seems to be all over the place when it comes to missions, talking to people and collecting the fish. It seems like everything got mixed up in some sort of glitchy way, and it’s incredibly confusing. I have missions for things I haven’t even heard of, yet I complete other missions before even speaking to whoever is meant to give it to me, often I’ll have already caught the fish before being told to look for them and being fully levelled out on things like hooks means you catch all the new fish in one go in a new location (once it’s finally opened up) and don’t really take the time to take in all the loveliness. I wish the whole thing was more linear (meet one person, get a quest, do it, return, have something lead the way to the next quest), so I could take the time to discover everything and enjoy the work the makers have put in. ### 3/5 — This tricked me *2018-02-15, version 1.5* You would think by the look of this game and the reviews and rating it has that it would be a fun, awesome game. This was the opposite. This game is very boring and just has a thousand side quests that are also boring. Don’t waste your money. Or, you don’t have to take me for my word and get the game.
