Rulecraft answers rules questions about the board game on your table. Ask in your own words: the phase nobody remembers, the card that seems to break the game, how scoring actually works at the end. Rulecraft finds the rulebook, reads it, and answers with the sources it used, so you can check the answer instead of taking its word for it. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Ask anything about a game's rules, setup or scoring and get a straight answer • See the rulebooks and pages every answer came from • Search the board game catalogue and see what's trending • Keep the games you own in your collection, one tap away when an argument starts • Give every game its own soundtrack, with ambience layered underneath WHEN THE RULEBOOK DOESN'T SETTLE IT Rulecraft tells you when it found nothing, when the rules only cover part of your question, and when the sources disagree and none of them is the official word. It does not invent a ruling to fill the gap. RULECRAFT PRO Rulecraft is free to use, with a set number of questions each week. Rulecraft Pro removes that limit and adds: • Unlimited questions • Music that keeps playing when you leave the app or lock your phone • No ads • Control over how the music sounds • Alternate app icons Rulecraft Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly. A bead of water gathers under each one and, five seconds later, one of them lights up. No arguing. Games in your language Descriptions, categories and mechanics now arrive translated. Whenever you are reading a translation the app tells you, and the original is always one tap away. Question history Every question you have asked is kept. Open it from the front page or from a game's page, and tap one to get the whole conversation back, answer and read-aloud included. Game photos Game pages now carry real photos from the community. Open them full screen to zoom in. Complexity, with its number The figure on the 1-5 scale sits next to the word: "Demanding · 3.6". ### 1.1 — 2026-08-21 Rulecraft 1.1: same app, new everything. And it finally counts your lives. A NEW LOOK, TOP TO BOTTOM The tabs are gone. Rulecraft now opens on a single cover page: the game on your table right now, what's trending, your collection, and a search field down where your thumb already is. Tap the microphone and water rises over the screen — that's where the question happens, typed or, with Pro, out loud — and the answer comes back with the rulebook it came from. Everything else has been redrawn in glass and light, and the welcome tour is the real app now instead of a slideshow. A LIFE COUNTER FOR YOUR TABLE Pick 20, 30, 40 or whatever number your group swears by, say how many of you are playing, and choose a seating: facing, around, in quarters, in rows, in parallel. Every total is drawn the right way up for the person reading it, so nobody has to crane their neck. Tap the top half of your panel to go up, the bottom half to go down. One finger counts one, two fingers count ten. What you gained and what you lost show up separately — plus five and minus three, never plus two — so the table can see what just happened instead of arguing about it. On your first game a ghost hand walks you through it, and a "?" replays the lesson for whoever arrives late. ...AND FOR EVERYBODY ELSE'S Playing online, or just tired of passing one phone around? Create a room, share the six-character code, and each player counts on their own screen. Every change lands on all the phones at once, including the damage somebody just dealt you from the other side of the table. The host presses Start and the rest follow. Close the app, lose signal, take a call: your seat is kept for you, and the code lets you back in. When a game ends everyone returns to the room, ready for another round without setting the table again. Rooms last twelve hours, which is about two more than any game night needs. The host can close the room so nobody else wanders in, or remove someone, and anyone can report a player who is spoiling the evening.
